I never forgave AJ's faggotry because of his shit parents. Plenty kids grow up in similar or worse and turn out great. Let's not forget The Hair Apparent...might have been dumb enough to drown in two inches of water at the penguin exhibit but at least he had the balls to do it before the crank wore off.
The only kid around the Sopranos that grew up well was Hunter, and that's because she basically stopped being involved.
Barbara is the only non-mob associated Soprano from the older generation, and is largely well adjusted because she left the family, and therefore wasn't in the show much.
How about Jackie Jr.'s sister? she wasn't in the show either and she's fine.
The only way AJ would turn out well is if he wasn't around his manipulative father.
He gets mixed signals from Tony all the time.
