I think the bad jokes are desperate attempts at deescalation.

Also, he's been very prone to just cite back posts at the ones who wrote them or do the "would be a great name for a band" shtick. His mental illness is marching onwards undetered and unhindered.

The rest of your statement is stepping outside the confines of facts and into faith, as in, it cannot be proven by fact, at least as facts are understood by human cognition and provable beyond reasonable doubt by the same.

If he STOPPED at the Planet Nestor nonsense and the pretensions of being Jesus, he'd be crazy still, but relatively normal crazy, as in, he'd be one in a long line of crazy dudes with pretensions of godhood and knowledge of shit other mortals don't.
