Yeah, most managers are still doing this, but because of advanced sabermetrics, some teams are now batting the best hitters at the second position because then they get more at-bats and thus can create more runs while the best on-base person hits leadoff. That's why Kris Bryant is hitting no 2 for the Cubs and Zobrist is hitting 4th

Of course, Zobrist has spent most of the playoffs in left field (7) and hit mostly 4th in the lineup so you got something there.
