Brad, I admire your adopting these strays (or allowing yourself to be adopted, whatev). I really do. It keeps them safe and fed, and it keeps the local songbird population safer as well.

But knowing the life of a typical housecat is basically "sleep 18 hours in every 24, get food, get attention, maybe pose for some photos, get more food, jump in lap of person," why would you imagine that this would be a punishment for anyone? Cats can do physics too. Mine did some remarkable work with gravity, in the area of "terminal velocity of objects falling from shelves." Why is this a sentence? You basically just doomed @NotAKitty to eternal heaven. That is very kind of you, but it's sort of punishment fail.
