Out of the eight examples I gave, you only had a terrible response for two of them, and nothing at all for the other six. Your example for Left being pictographic was that L points in the opposite direction of left, for crying out loud. And that's not even getting into Sinister meaning the opposite of right. Or Port.

And that's just proceeding from definition. If we proceed from letter formation to use in words, you're still up sheet creek without a paddle. Or boat. Or clue. For example, you use the strange example claiming the u in Up being pictographic because the ends point up, but then U is also the start of Under, meaning it's used in antonymical words.

And even all this is without getting into how the words and letters still aren't actually pictographic representations of what they describe.

Both "most simplest" and "simplest" is actually correct depending on its use. You will see more people argue for just the superlative form, though. Others will just use "most simple".
