It's one of the reasons I suspect on some level Brad is quite sane. Sure, he's a deluded old man who sees crazy things in crap tier TV shows and has a number fetish that is badly alloyed to delusions of being a deity, but some part of him remains more than sane enough to realize he looks like a nutcase, so he sticks to forums to avoid wider scrutiny.

Another reason is that in someway, he craves interaction, albeit filtered through his autistic obsessions, and forums are a perfect compromise between flogging his brand of crazy and keeping his scrutiny to a level he knows he can handle.

We have video of him doing this to people on the street, but it seems limited to situations where they cannot politely ignore him.
