I have had a bit of history with extraterrestrials. Your NASA presentation in(64)terests me very much, as well is your FOD=6_4 algorithm. Watson and Crick first described the structure of DNA in 1953... In 60 years we've discovered introns, exons, mitochondrial DNA, histone protiens, the process for DNA transcription and translation, and a lot about genetic diversity.

Just because they found out something about DNA (even though they did take a lot from other research. Specifically the X-ray diffraction analysis by Rosalind Franklin) doesn't make them the authority on DNA information.

Also we don't really call it junk DNA in genetics. It's tyically DNA which we don't know what use it has, sequence that encode for signalling, varying inhibitors and attachment points and GC-gap regions (along with STR's)
