This guy really needs help. You can't reason with him, because he literally says the facts have to change in order to suit whatever conclusion he wants to reach. This is why Brad cannot possibly call himself a scientist... because scientific method demands that you define the conditions that would invalidate your claim. Brad doesn't do this. He simply jumbles his numbers and listens to his TV, and figures no matter what the result is, he can make it work... even if he has to change the facts to suit him.

This is, oddly, also the reason he couldn't be a decent theologian. While in religious topics, the standard for "proof" and "fact" is a little less mathematical, you're still expected to have a logically consistent view. You're expected to be able to explain, in philosophical terms, what your beliefs are very clearly. And you have to put up with a LOT of counter-arguments (the flipside to not being able to prove something empirically is that you must be able to defend it intellectually). Just saying "I've got my number theory, visit my website!" will get you kicked out of any theological salon I can think of.... from any faith.
