He went from a twink to a slovenly drunk fat mess when Dunn died. The shift was around Jackass 2. He started getting skinny fat and he's got a beer in his hand the whole film. I was surprised how fat he was in Jackass 3 (only several years later) and he's gone far far beyond that.

How can anyone think Ryan Dunn's death caused anything? The "downfall" starts with this picture. Between age 19 and 23 he seems to have aged ten years. He looks like a completely different person in the gif - I have actually never even seen another picture of this man where he looks healthy.

Dunn died over half a decade after Jackass 2 came out. Firstly, your theory isn't true, but it also doesn't make any sense
He fails to recognize that not everybody drinks like he does. Jesse, like most, can drink without going on a bender or getting piss drunk. Bam isn't one of those kinds of people. That's one of the first things you learn about yourself in A.A.
