Isn't SBM the guy whose main interaction with Phil was to ask Phil on Twitter if he could tone down being such an asshole and Phil would reply with a, "Hello, Sir!!! While you are absolutely entitled to your opinion, you are in fact incorrect."
I mean besides giving Phil money on his streams to say, "Phil, I'm blind and you read text boxes out loud in RPGs!!!"

Yeah he got sat down like a pouty little boy when talking about a guy that Brandon actually met when he said Neil Kikemann had a cancel culture army at his disposal and Phil being Phil took something he wasn't entirely wrong about and did what he does best but had he done some deeper digging into who NG hired to work on TLOU it could be considered a sort of patient zero for all the sweet baby Inc shit we got today.

They were never friends.

Superblindman was, at best, a token that Phil could use to pretend he cares about cripples (a major target demographic) or accessibility (a virtue signal). Phil used him as a paypig, and to brag about knowing someone in the gaming industry. The moment there was a disagreement, Superblindman was waved away like Rob Warren and the rest of the retard cripples that dared to go against the grain.

TLOU isn't even a real game. If you are blind, you cannot play games. Pressing a button every once in a while and hearing droning cutscenes doesn't mean you "played a game". Sucks he died from cancer but there is NOTHING of value lost here. God forbid the industry actually works on the bullshit people would give a fuck about.

You know there was this old news article I remember seeing around the time Episdoe 1 came out and they were touting some feature involving someone describing scenes for the blind/visually impaired coming to a theater near you and the scene they played was of Darth Maul the voice saying "an ominous looking man in a black cloak stands before them" call me crazy but if you cannot see how the fuck do you know what color or ominous looking are supposed to be? Granted maybe it's for people who could at one time see but if you're straight up blind doesn't do you much good to bring up concepts they couldn't comprehend better off getting a dog to take a color blindness test.

I imagine you could, but you'd need to design a 'game' from the ground up that's only based on sounds and feel. They'd need to create their own genres. Trying to adapt 1st and 3rd person shooters or racing games so that blind people can feel like they are playing the game (look at me, i'm a real boy) and be 'included' is kinda stupid.

There is at least one on Xbox that is an adventure game which is done purely by sound, but the name escapes me
 
I know Phil tried to play off that him and SBM were "friends", but Christ on a cracker, Dave. Hell, even you said before that your fans "aren't your friends" SBM was a dent that gave you money, you went out of your WAY to show jealously when he got a PS5 for his work on TLOU2, you showed your jealously by showing that box of rocks, ALSO, he called you out on your bullshit.

Look, I didn't care for SBM, because he was an asshole to a LOT of detractors and to people that I respect in the detractor community. I do feel empathy for his family and friends in his real life, not because he was a dent.

Also, I love how Phil tried to tell everyone that video was not monetized, but Super thanks was enabled, but he tried to gaslight everyone and said that he "couldn't turn it off", but he got called out for it and you can turn it off, but Phil being Phil, he has to get every single red penny.

Just another line of monetized deaths like Scott and T, but also monetizing dead relationships like Howard, John, and Leanna.
