Because every year redditors find a political/societal position and make it a huge part of their identity. In 2020 it was blm, in 2021 it was COVID, and in 2022 it was antiwork and city planning.

Because it's an easy target their mouthbreather audience is familiar with and it's safe to criticize. Stop for a second and consider there's a wing of commentary-reviewing that fundamentally is a revamp of cringe watchers who made a career of bullying pick-up artists, crypto bros and incels with "totally wholesome energy" and "chaotic gay vibes".

Shapiro is also unlikely to introduce their audience to any genuine political thought. He's a tepid Kosher Sandwich neocon, and you can see on the face of it that everything he says is disingenuous. That makes him the ideal target, because nobody can sympathize with him. If they spent time attacking actual Far Right political theorists, even the semi-schizoid ones like Dugin, their audience might start asking uncomfortable questions.

I just watched a few minutes from a few of his videos and this bong faggot gets some things right. He is salvageable, just needs to learn a few more things about nigger nature and culture, (((who))) is behind the big pharma and the prolonged pandemic, (((who))) owned and still owns the slaves, and their connection to the BLM movement, but he could be saved.
