Even Contrapoints tried to counter the strawman, "OMG WILL THERE BE VIDEOGAMES UNDER SOCIALISM!?" by citing Tetris, which was made in the Soviet Union. Which is like comparing one toy company that makes a wide variety of toys with one that only manufactures funko pops or something like that, seeing that the Soviet Union did not produce any other notable videogame.

That's a somewhat better example than citing Tetris, but it still falls flat because it was still made in a capitalist society. You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who actually opposes worker co-ops existing. Worker co-ops can exist under capitalism (though they still have to compete with more traditional businesses) but not vice versa. The only free market that can exist under socialism is a black/grey market, and private property ownership is either heavily restricted or nonexistent

I did some research and discovered that one of his accusers (trans of course) had changed their story while leaving out important relevant details. Here is one of Caleb Maupin's former comrades continuing to call him out for being a John while neglecting the mention the fact that the person who agreed to engage in BDSM prostitution with Caleb (TLDR Caleb paid his trannie comrade to spank him, and this comrade now claims this was abuse) 1) had already openly admitted to being a trannie prostitute upon joining the organization, but was still allowed to join and 2) had sex with another comrade in front of a non-consenting comrade they were living in the same house with, which is also sexual abuse. This wasn't with the expectation of making money, he just thought it was a fun game and wanted to share it with others. It spread for free throughout the Warsaw Pact countries until Western businessmen discovered it, tracked down Pazhitnov and asked for the rights to publish the game in the West. Pazhitnov agreed freely, he's said multiple times over the years that he didn't mind not making any money from Tetris - he was just happy people liked it. Of course the fucking KGB weren't involved - why would they care about a computer game? Pazhitnov emigrated to the US after the fall of the Soviet Union and a few years later the Academy of Sciences voluntarily gave him the IP.

in some of those tweets he addresses the "infrared community" and tells them he is their ally. while 2 months ago, this happened: he called into an Infrared twitter space with his alt twitter account he made to "expose" them, doing some sort of Cartman impression, saying that Caleb Maupin will lead the revolution @39:30

Infrared guesses that it is him but he sticks with his character. afterwards (in this video on 1hr14) on a different twitter space he accidentally uses his normal voice while on his alt and then claims he "hacked" the alt account. I guess somehow since then he has become pro-Infrared again.

Alexey worked for the Soviet Academy of Sciences so Tetris was automatically property of the state, and because of that the licensing was managed by "ELORG", a state run import/exporter. When business was being conducted with one of the people interested in acquiring the license to Tetris the KGB was there to make sure everything was acceptable, it's just how they operated, and still do in some regards. It was suggested to Alexey that he get out of Russia so that he could actually control the Tetris IP, sell it as a commercial product and get royalties.

Just to add to the stupidity of the sickle lovers using Tetris as an example of a video game being made "by the people for the people", the only reason they know about Tetris, the only reason Tetris is so huge, is that it was a very profitable commercial product sold in stores, it was made into a global hit thanks to the very capitalism that they are trying to paint in a bad light.

I'm sure Breadtube has explained why the government owning all of the products of your labor is a good thing in their typical smug sarcastic way at some point. I guess they don't labor or produce anything that can be taken, so perhaps they are prepared for their ideal future.

Ryan Faulk, to this DAY, holds the award for being one of the few to have an entire video privated by Shaun because Shaun couldn't stand being refuted for his video on the Bell Curve (spoiler: he didn't understand any bit of it, he just said it was racist and referenced other people who said it was racist). Unlearning Economics, who is actually a guy who cares about the working class, is a leftist economist who basically showed Shaun, Olly Thorn, and Contra didn't know jack shit about economics (shocker). His is one of the few videos that remain on the site actively criticizing Shaun, as the others belonged on right wing channels and were subsequently deleted during the purges of 2018-2019.
