He actually tried to argue that because Wendigoon grew up rich(he didn’t) in a predominantly white neighborhood where “you have to assume every white person is racist” and “didnt share stories of his heritage growing up because IPOS grew up poor kind of close by and IPOS didn’t do that”, he’s not actually Native American and is just doing the “I’m 2% black” excuse to shield himself from criticism.

Yes, the fart huffing white leftist man has decided to gatekeep Native Americans from being Native Americans.

its always white leftists who gatekeep minorities from being minorities

"Actually Mutahar is aryan because he's too light skinned for being Indian"

I just realized what was pinging my radar about the tone of the IPOS/Wendigoon video. He embodies this Onion article from 2003:

Dennis, Dennis, Dennis.

This bitter eBay bidding war has gotten out of hand. Why should we tear each other apart like this? Yes, the Muppet Movie soundtrack has not been available on CD since 1993 and is highly sought on the collector's market. But is that any reason to drive the price north of the $52 mark, with two days, seven hours, and six minutes remaining, no less?

As I have said repeatedly, let me win this auction, and I will happily let you copy the disc to iTunes for your own use. Just let me get my CD at a fair and reasonable price. If we had joined forces on this, I could have used the "Buy It Now" feature and saved us both a lot of money—money that could have gone toward those rare Palisades Dr. Teeth figures we both want. But look where your pride has led us.

Why should you be the one to give in, you ask? The answer is simple: As the greater and more dedicated Muppets fan, by all rights the CD is mine. Plainly and obviously, I appreciate the Muppets on a much deeper level than you do.

Please recall, if you will, the night I first showed you The Muppet Movie. It's bad enough that you hadn't grown up loving the film, but afterwards you called it, and I quote, "funny." Not "a deeply spiritual and highly personal statement of ambition tempered by ethics," but "funny." Was it "funny" that Kermit refused to Judas his race to a corrupt corporation, even though it meant giving up his dream of stardom?

I never should have let you go to the kitchen for more Pringles during Kermit's big "High Noon" speech to Charles Durning—the emotional apex of the film. But as bad as that was, Dennis, you've committed far worse sins. And I think you know what I'm referring to. To call The Muppet Christmas Carol superior to The Muppet Movie amounts to nothing less than blasphemy to true Muppet fans and all other sensible people. Christmas Carol, as you well know, is the first Muppet film made after the death of Jim Henson. How can it be the best when it is missing the man who was the heart, soul, and voice of the Muppet universe, Mr. James Maury Henson?

This is not even to mention the absence of Richard Hunt.

Hear me now: Jim Henson was Kermit. Steve Whitmire is a Henson impersonator. Admittedly, a damn talented one—his Ernie, in particular, nearly captures the affability and innocence of the original—but the equal of Henson? Step back from the brink, Dennis.

If you like Christmas shows so much, you need to get yourself a copy of A Muppet Family Christmas and see how the real Kermit celebrates it. Or Christmas Eve On Sesame Street. Or the transcendent Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas. Or even John Denver And The Muppets: A Christmas Together. Anything but The Muppet Christmas Carol, for God's sake.

Mark my words, history will record post-Henson Muppet products as distinctly inferior. On that I would bet my ultra-rare VHS copy of the pioneering interactive comedy video Hey, You're As Funny As Fozzie Bear.

I am trying to contain my Don Music-like frustration at your arrogance, but how can I speak reasonably to a man who prefers the plodding Dark Crystal to the delightful, far more imaginative Labyrinth? Do you really fancy yourself some kind of expert Muppet archivist just because our PBS affiliate doesn't carry the Ed Sullivan reruns, forcing me to rely on you to tape the old Muppet sketches for me when you visit your friend who gets Noggin in New York?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only volume of Time-Life's Best Of The Muppet Show owned by you is Vol. 2, which you bought only for the Mark Hamill episode. It's bad enough that you would be more swayed by that Star Wars Insider feature—a painfully gushing love letter to a sub-par episode—than you would by me, a genuine fan. Adding insult to injury, you probably haven't even watched the other two episodes on that very DVD. Why, I bet you couldn't tell Floyd from Zoot if your life depended on it.

The final insult, though, was that time you made fun of me at Ken's house for saying that the Harry Belafonte episode of The Muppet Show made me teary-eyed when I watched it shortly after Sept. 11. That, plus your admission that you've never even seen the episode. Am I to believe that someone who's never experienced the profound "Turn The World Around" musical number is entitled to outbid me on a Muppet Movie soundtrack? The four representative songs on The Muppet Show's 25th anniversary CD are simply not enough for you? You honestly feel you deserve to own "Never Before, Never Again" on CD more than I do? Try again, Mr. Noodle.

As we both know, this is about more than just a CD. Throughout the years I've known you, you have consistently failed to give the Muppets their proper due. Who taught you to count? Who taught you to read? Who taught you the social skills we enjoy to this day? The Muppets did. And you thank them how? By not even being able to distinguish the real Kermit from the new one? To a legitimate fan, the difference is incredibly obvious, almost as clear as the one between the old and new Cookie Monsters (don't get me started).

I swear on Mr. Hooper's grave, I will not stand idly by while you sow the seeds of animosity and discord between friends. Can't you see that you should have matured beyond this kind of behavior years ago? I urge you to overcome your foolish, Swedish-Chef-incomprehensible grandstanding and let stand my bid for $52.50. Such is my advice. I am now done talking to you.

Oh, and regarding your alt.tv.muppets post of a month ago: The Weezer video is not a "perfect" simulation of The Muppet Show. Among myriad other errors, Pepe The Prawn is a latter-day Muppet who made his debut on Muppets Tonight in 1996 and never appeared on the original show.

Now grow the hell up.

Hasn't King bitched and moaned about Orange man bad in the past? He's the last celebrity I'd assume voted for Trump.
Unironically, one of the most irritating things about this IPOS drama is the fact that the whole video is so absolutely psychotic but all anyone talks about is the Wendigoon hit piece. Understandable that people would talk about that so much, but I think that compared to the rest of the video it actually borders on sanity.

For example, here he calls Stephen King one of the "liberal figures within the pantheon of horror that help to prop up conservative values or just outright causing harm" because he didn't tweet in support of the Columbia encampment.

This video is genuinely pretty hilarious, not only are his arguments bad, he also spits out dozens, maybe hundreds of them in the course of the vid trying to gish-gallop. At the same time he talks slow enough and his arguments are so bad that (even as someone who isn't into horror) it just ends up being bizarre claim after bizarre claim... like when he claims that Quentin Tarantino is a conservative because he lives in Israel or when he claims that HP Lovecraft is a progressive because he's queer
there's this dangerous myth that has been cultivated by the left that conservatives can't make art that they don't understand people on a very basic level ... Quenton Tarantino is a Zionist and lives in Israel
Lovecraft was almost certainly queer ... the very foundations and grammar of the art were constructed by queer people about queer people and as an art form it really only works when being used as a mirror to reflect social issues about how people of lower class are being affected by those with power horror can't really function when it's being bent into a tool that punches down

I just realized what was pinging my radar about the tone of the IPOS/Wendigoon video. He embodies this Onion article from 2003:

You know if in praise of shadows was not a paranoid leftist you could have very easily easily reached out to Wendy goon

and asked him to do a collaboration which would have brought more people to his channel and would have boosted his revenue immensely we would call this in the business world networking but a communist not understanding how business or economics works is par for the course

In Praise of Shadows/Zane's attempt to position himself as the political commissar of Youtube horror commentary, only for it blow up in his face is completely on-brand for a reddit commie.

What makes the whole thing even better is how transparent his intentions were along with how clumsy he was in applying manipulative tactics.

"I care about horror, but I can't pay my bills because I say stupid shit in my videos like mutant cannibal rapists are really an allegory for black people, but that's a good thing because they are sticking it to the white capitalist devil."

The flames on that take are so hot they are blue-white.

But the video was a good sneak peek into the environment in which Breadtubers operate, how they gain/keep power within their own contingent (character assassination, guilt by association, moral posturing, threats of ostracism), and what constitutes 'evidence' to the Breadtuber mind.

Its just tribalism and tribe brain like Harmful said. QTs wife is Israeli, thats why hes there cause its his retirement away from degenerating cali to live with his wife and son, not because hes some Ziofag although he might be that as well. King on the other hand will tweet about leaving America several times but never does. Lovecraft was never queer, its just another instance of faggots appropriating popular shit, this trend of gay lovecraft funnily enough being started by Hbomberguy back in 2017. PCOS wanted to be the next Hbomberguy with his cool hitpiece on a bigoted christian psycho instead he ended up as a moviebob/quinton reviews for damaging the entire tribe.

He couldn't talk to Wendigoon, he's a Nazi! You can tell because he follows people that IPOS doesn't like on twitter!
Furthermore, Wendigoon is incredibly hostile to IPOS! You can tell because he follows IPOS on twitter!
I bet that Wendigoon even follows people that IPOS has no feelings about one way or the other on twitter!

Also... "Gonna take a month off?"
He's going to miss fag month. Now we miss out on his videos telling us that Freddy Kruger is really the victim because he's a pedo and that's part of the LGBTQSASSBBQWTFPPPPPPP+, so it's really a good thing that he's killing all of those strait white kids.

Isnt it confirmed that Wendigoon has native american blood in him, in that his grandfather is Native American?
if so, isnt this a white man trying to cancel a native american because "i dont like he made more money than I do"

Zane once again ticking the boxes of being something he supposedly is against.

bloke doesnt like a minority making more money than him
It doesn't "officially" count unless you have tribal membership. They do it that way because the average American is 1/64th native while a TON of regular White Americans you see walking around your town are something like 1/16th. 1/8th, or even 1/4 in places like Oklahoma.
Blacks and Natives haaaaaaaate when White people say they have Native blood, but the dirty secret is that it's usually true.

"He ONLY follows 200 people!"
There was so many times in the video he said this. Total twitter brainrot. "Why don't you follow more people? You are just weird!"
On my twitter I only follow 3 people. On my old twitter before it got banned I don't think I got above 25.

Since when was Lovecraft queer? Did I miss something?

I guess none of us can really know unless we go back in time, put a gun to Lovecraft's head and demand he tell us if he was a homo or not.

Most people don't even know that he was married. His wife was a traveling saleswoman and they were separated so much that they lost any reason to stay married, but apparently he performed well enough for her when they were together.

Is this one of those situations where Zane likes Lovecraft, but he feels guilty because Lovecraft was waaaacist, so being a faggot washes things out?

Dear god, I asked for a recommendation from an ex-fan so I could get an idea of what he was like before going full pol-brained and he suggested this one from 2021
I still haven't finished it (Zane is almost as annoying as in the hit piece, but at least he seems a little more structured and to use higher-quality evidence). It starts with a fairly straight-forward description of the film Castle Freak and then goes on to talk about HP Lovecraft (who did not write Castle Freak, but did write The Outsider which has some similar themes and did influence two other Stuart Gordon films), but when I got to this part my jaw dropped in disbelief.
there is, at least in my opinion, compelling and convincingly strong evidence to at least argue that Lovecraft was possibly trans or at the very least queer
His evidence of this is that as a child Lovecraft would wear gowns and had long hair. I'm sure that most of us are aware that this was fairly typical for a young boy in an affluent family growing up in early 20th century America. Zane goes on to claim (with little if any evidence) that Lovecraft did this distinctly more femininely than other boys in similar situations and that he would call himself a girl. This is undercut by the fact that (as Zane admits) Lovecraft's abusive, overbearing mother wanted a daughter. To be fair, this isn't too different than most "trans children" today so point 1 for Lovecraft being trans. Throughout the video he provides further proof that Lovecraft is queer. For example, his self-loathing, suicidal pondering, hatred of others, and mental illness (OK, OK, I'm convinced. He's a tranny).

Here's a little piece of the video that 2024 Zane probably should have listened to
people should be able to like and behave how they want to as long as they're not hurting others

He also provides this quote at 1:00:30.
Screen Shot 2024-06-03 at 18.37.59.png
What is the censored word?! Zane simply says "the n-word". Some might argue that it's "negro", but until proven otherwise I'm going to assume that Lovecraft said "niggo".

Oh, and at about an hour sixteen minutes in he appears on camera and for some reason he's clean-shaven except for the hair under his chin. I've never seen this before and for good reason, who the fuck would do that? He goes on for the next 20 or so minutes talking about himself and how much he appreciates his new career making Youtube videos. Congratulations, 2021 Zane, I'm sure you won't fuck this up!

Overall this video isn't nearly as bad as the hit piece, but it's still quite bad and doesn't make me look upon Zane any more kindly. It's rambly and pointless and not very convincing. Some of the quotes were funny/interesting, but he just doesn't have anything intelligent to say. Some of his observations are unique, and some are well-supported by the evidence, but none of them are both. Zane just doesn't seem like a very smart guy and every time he strays from the most obvious conclusions he ends up embarrassing himself.

yes thats what a political compass is

and the fact that Zane's video is all about how conservatives dont get horror while calling Stephen King a conservative and Lovecraft a queer is so weird to me. Alright so wearing a gown overrides the blatant racism? I really dont get it

If you think Tarantino and King are conservatives you essentially admit great art comes form everywhere, if you think Lovecraft's opinions dont matter so long as his message conforms to what you think of as tradhorror then why are you defining it in this box to begin with? at least retarded leftists who think spiderverse is cinema are consistent in their beliefs that right wingers have never made anything good, because they dont know who John Updike is. It's even weirder to know these people and then do mental gymnastics to either paint them as the opposite of their views for the purpose of either proving the genre is lefty or proving your personal dislike of their work is objective because you hate their views they dont even have

while calling Stephen King a conservative and Lovecraft a queer

Imagine being so far left that Stephen King is a conservative to you.

And imagine trying to reinvent Lovecraft as a queer when a lot of themes from his work stem from his own xenophobia and racism.

If HP Lovecraft knew about transgenderism, the troons would be the monsters and horrors in his work. Transgenderism is already a man-made horror beyond the comprehension of any decent human being, so it's actually a perfect theme for cosmic horror. Not to celebrate transgenderism, but to criticize it.

IPOS idea that horror is intrinsically left-punk is fucking retarded to say the absolute least. I already talked about this in a post I made on the SCP thread. TLDR bug people take over and ruin everything.

This is a cycle that has repeated itself too many times to count. An original idea or style of horror content is created by people with the temperment of 4chan users (SCP, creepypasta, backrooms, HP Lovecraft) which then attracts the attention of people with the temperment of tumblr and reddit who add their own low quality interpretations. They are obsessed with social issues and activism and will either insert it or spend more time obsessing over it than the actual creative content. Suddenly the thing that used to be fun is inundated with gay drama and modern day politics. Even if once in a blue moon one of them will produce something of quality, the mental illness and insanity is a constant. Things from 4chan are free for anyone to use or modify and are made anonymously simply for the love it, while leftists from tumblr and reddit are obsessed with owning things, their reputation, getting proper credit, and people "stealing'' their ideas or content. They will then claim that whatever it is they're ruining actually always belonged to them or they have some kind of right to it because the original creator is racist.
Congratulations, you've described geeks, MOPs, and sociopaths

And imagine trying to reinvent Lovecraft as a queer when a lot of themes from his work stem from his own xenophobia and racism.
Actually, it's a little known fact Lovecraft is a huge leftist progressive. He is so dedicated to anti-racism that he works to destigmatize the most oppressive slur in daily life by addressing his cat. The most underrated communist in history.

w/r/t the "punk" thing, what if words just mean what they mean?
punk is a hobo slang way of describing a boy used for anal rape.
that's the 20th cent. origin of the noun. inuits have a lot of words for snow, and hobos have a lot of words for boy-hole.
everyone, including IPOS agrees that he is a faggot ∴ when he says his realm is punk, he is correct.
it's like a magic spell. the word was used by cynical music producers for a while, but at last the truth will out.
