the reason why trump won is because he had actually fucking consistent ideas people could get behind, trump promised a return to lower grocery prices, and end to the Ukraine war, and tougher border controls, all things that the average black,white,Latino etc American wants. Harris on the other hand didn’t have consistent ideals , for example her stance on palestine, trump was very open about his stance on that issue, but Harris kept flip flopping on that. Besides if Harris was more progressive probably still wouldn’t have saved her because what’s the ointment of empty platitudes when you can’t even afford food for a family of 3.

Progressives way overestimate their own popularity because they've been astroturf on every social media by a combination of Chinese bot forms Russian bot forms the CIA creepy left wing NGOs and other such groups because they don't realize they're useful idiots for people with actual political power but again they don't care because they have the money which good on them for securing the bag.
But when it actually comes down to brass tacks dedicated progressives about 9% of the US population they're more dedicated conservatives than dedicated progressives and that's only one study I could reference a hundred others that proves that these people ideas are not popular outside of far left echo chambers.

Any site with not heavy-handed moderation eventually turns right wing because the right is better at argumentation the only people who can stand up to the right are libertarians principled communists principled socialists and principled liberals progressives or incoherent mixtures of 900 different schools of socialism critical theory and a bunch of other intelligence operations just trying to demoralize people and cause chaos.

Like I can watch Jimmy dorey and figure out what he believes in he wants more social programs and end to pointless wars he doesn't like corporate welfare he doesn't like government corruption he doesn't like people being poisoned by the medical establishment and he supports an end to government mass surveillance.

The fact that Fascism/Nazism is banned but Communism is legal has to be one of the greatest acts of injustice in the 20th and 21st centuries. Communism killed way more people than any form of Fascism or Nazism ever did. The fact that there are people who decry fascists while defending Communists is fucking insane. It shows a complete ignorance of history and the consequences of bad ideas.

That, and some fascist systems actually worked. Franco and Pinochet are good examples of fascist dictators that kept things stable. As opposed to the USSR or Red China where they couldn't keep stable for shit unless they compromised their ideology.

This guy's breaking bad/better call saul's videos were absolutel dogshit. He's such a blind-faith leftist that he fundamentally misunderstood a brain-dead simple aspect of the plot of Better Call Saul: he actually believed a character's "allergy to electricity" is real. Despite the fact that it not being real is a major plot point, and is demonstrated many, many times to not be real, and the entire plot point being a pretty simple metaphor for an "allergy" to not being able to control situations. He argued in a video that it was like diseases that science weren't able to prove the truth about for decades, despite it being proven to be fake in the show. Genuinely a very low iq individual.
