Honeslty, if we must combine the phrase "Christian Values" with another value system it should be with Classical Antiquity. The church fathers were heavily influenced by Plato, Aristotle, Plotinus, etc; and our founding fathers were absolute nerds about the Roman republic, so much so that in many respects our nation is modeled after it.

Not sure how you'd mash the two together into one phrase though.

Right-wingers (not Republicans but actual ones) consider it an anti-white phrase.

I assume the history of it is innocent, but it's true that it's become a shibboleth among people who claim that Western Civilization™ is the coming-together of "Jerusalem and Athens"—their purpose being to characterize Christianity as not central to European/white history but as derivitive or even abberant. Inevitably they quote the New Testament "neither Jew nor Greek" verse, as if it binds Christians to this position, and by implication to a status below Jews.

Christian Zionists love that, of course. If you consider Zionism a form of white colonialism, I suppose you could knot up your brain just right to think "Judeo-Christian" is some ein reich type shit.

As often noted, the left (or "the left") doesn't understand the right (or "the right") at all.

It's a clever political subversion, but true believers know that Judaists have broken the covenant, so we do not associate with them in beliefs.

I'm Orthodox, and I never heard or read this phrase outside of Western internet, so it's moreso of a US ideological construct. Which unfortunately manages to have an effect on people.
 
Every time I hear MikefromPA speak it comes off as the bleating and wailing of a diseased animal finally succumbing to its illness in one last agonized last gasp.

You can tell he has a desperate and urgent need to hurt the closest living thing he can get his hands on. The only thing stopping him from hurting animals or people is that he's too wretched and physically weak to try.

So he has to be content with shrieking at his audience in the hope that eventually someone as equally wretched and worthless as he is will rape or kill someone he doesn't like.
Looking at this wretched subhuman and listening to it speak and try to pass itself off as an actual human being leaves a foul taste in my mouth.
