I think this was a case of convergent retardation. To Vaush's credit, I would suspect Flamenco of being that obsessive and retarded, but would have been more cautious to just call him out, since it could easily be someone using his name, which is the most likely case. As mentioned above fringe groups and cults both tend to target disenfranchised and lost people. I think it has a lot to do with TRAs convincing people any number of psychological issues means dysphoria. So your confused and lost person says to themselves " it all makes sense now I must be trans." So they seek out more answers from online communities for trans people. The issue with that being many in these communities are already fans of leftist content creators, they'll recomend a few favorites and youtubes algorithms will do the rest. It's probably important to note that politicians will pander to and extend a lot of empty platitudes to whatever group is most likely to support them. Since the 60s the left in the US has been the side that championed LGBT rights issues, it makes sense many LGBT folks are naturally more left leaning. Breadtubers are political figures and understand this. They used contrapoints a trans woman as the poster child of their movement so a lot of people were like shes trans and the largest leftist Youtuber at the moment and her friends also talk about trans issues they must be doing something right. Appealing to a base is important. As I said above I think misdiagnosed or undiagnosed mental issues and identity crises play into it a lot and are very common in late teens and young adults who are just forging their own political beliefs and outlooks on the world. Someone mentioned above that Neo Nazis and white nationalists also recruit the mentally ill and lost from online communities and they totally do, they may target a different demographic for worse reasons but it's still from the same pool of individuals. Insecure, naive, confused, politically illiterate people with an already skewed view of reality who should really be more concerned with their own issues and well beings at the moment than regurgitating 80 year old propaganda and spending all day and night ranting on Reddit 4chan or twitter or ranting and rambling deliriously at a camera and mic on twitch for 4 hours.

Because what you're describing sounds a lot more like a public defender, than an actual well respected and well compensated defense attorney. You should probably actually look into how a defamation lawsuit actually works in Washington state. And how rarely they actually succeed. Vaush has also mentioned he lives in California multiple times although he could be blowing smoke up everyone's ass for all I know.
