Breakcore Enthusiasts?

It's insane to see this new life breakcore has taken on with younger audiences. It's kind of like the 'lo-fi' craze a few years back, seems like everyone's trying to lean into it now, Regardless, it's really awesome what Machine Girl and others have done to reignite interest in rave inspired music.

Oh boy i feel like this thread is for me, been enjoying breakcore for 8 years :story:
(also sewerslvt is fucking garbage this dude contribued nothing to the breakcore genre)

I recommend you to dig into :
Old Igorr's albums (very baroque-esque style) such as :
  • Hallelujah
  • Nostril
  • Moisissure
  • Poisson solubre

All Weyheyhey's albums, those are classics in the breakcore culture, they're all available on Soulseek
  • Harlott
  • Helical Scan
  • Toomuchnotenough
  • Songs I Made in a Hurry EP

Venetian Snares, my favorite albums from him are :
  • Rossz Csillag Alatt Született
  • My So-Called Life
  • My Love is a Bulldozer

Goreshit, besides the odd lolicore albums, theres quite a few excellent albums from him :
  • Ap2
  • Rituals
  • Semantics : The Benzo Chronicles
  • Semantic Compositions on Death and its Meaning
notable songs from other projects : Houmous Supreme

Machinegirl, i know he's the most mainstream artist right now and quirky fags are ruining his songs, but i cant deny that he has made some good albums, most of my favorite are not on Apple music nor Spotify ( theres an archive for his old/deleted albums on youtube) :
  • WLFGRL
  • Electronic Gimp Music
  • REPorpoised Phantasies
  • MRK90 MIX VOL 1
  • MG Demo Disc
notable songs from other projects : Lifeforce, ??? , 変態 (Hentai), Sister Juke, Night Saber, Phantazee, C_MGRL, WLFGRL LUV ◄3, Instrumental V.1

Old Renard's albums (alias Lapfox, if you ignore the furry shit it's good trust me, also his new projects are pure shit) i think they are on Soulseek too now, i had to download them on Piratebay before lol :
  • Trauma
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Because Maybe
  • Robot Brainstronaut Blastoff
notable songs from other projects : I Love My Internet Friends, This Could've Been Nice, Feel Better

StellaBee/すてらべえ, very niche japanese breakcore artists from soundcloud (songs are also available on soulseek+youtube) :
notable songs from other projects : Upside Down, If I Become Dead, Life Porter, Brain Damage, Because Of You, Ubiquity, Extremely Kawaii Breakcore

DJ Sharpnel, althought most of his albums are more gabber/rave/speedcore than breakcore, there's some good breakcore songs by him (all available on soulseek, shit quality on youtube) :
  • 20031023
  • TGTMN
  • DATA DRAIN
  • ZETTAI REMIX
  • TOGETHER AS ONE
  • Strawberry Sweetz
  • Rebirth
  • Japanese Soba Noodles
  • All Of Oils Belongs to Me
  • Airwave-08
  • Seapong
  • いいことに気づいちゃった / ハニーパンチ [シャープネル殺人 MIX]
Since the list is long, i'll just add other breakcore artists (that are also into other genre such as frenchcore/gabber/happy hardcore/mashcore, etc:
Kyou1110, Biohannya, Reizoko CJ, DJKurara, Ruby My Dear, Shitmat, Bong-ra, DJ Technorch, Kid606, Bandetto, Techdiff, sHimaU

Have fun! :)
been through about half of this, its been a pretty fun and wild ride. One more question, why to people dislike sewerslvt that much when it comes to breakcore, like controversy aside, cause i really like their remixes.

Either way thanks for all of these songs, im obessing with MachineGirl albums, tysm

Youtube's been recommending me le ebin breakcore maymays XDXD and it appears that breakcore is starting to trend for some reason. Wonder why.

went through the artist and i personally like some of their other tracks, but thanks for introducing me to them.

breakcore is the music genre of the TIM

actually been addicted to the entire fucking album lol, you got anything similar??
I mentioned Bukiko in my post but didn't link any of it, so not sure if you checked any of that out:

Nice to see a Breakcore related thread here on Kiwifarms.

Here's a piece that would fit the definition of Digital Hardcore:

Divtech - Smoke Amidst The Fog

Yep, I think we can all agree that a storm is coming.

Here's also an older track from 2012 which has chiptune elements in it:

Divtech - Resilience

Here's a track from Divtech's most recent album, Viscera Contra:
Divtech - Flesh Negative (Instrumental)

He allegedly identifies as non-binary and is an environmentalist but I don't think that this should keep you from digging deeper into his music. I think his artwork is cool, too. Sure, his sound isn't for everybody but you can say that about Breakcore in general.

If you like Xanopticon, you might also like Richard Devine and Datach'i.

Absolutely disappointed no one has posted some Optic Core or the rest of the Eldia gang.

Nobody posted this shit because this is supposed to be a breakcore thread, not a shitty ass soulless effortless repetitive sewerdrone c-tier drum n bass thread. Seriously, that cyberworm amen on the fourth song "Nightdrive" makes me want to fucking puke.

Haha. I didn't think I'd run into someone on here who knows Xanopticon. I thought he was so obscure I could get away without anyone knowing where I stole my username from.
Heres my obligatory addition to the thread.
Enduser is a fantastic artist but I never see anyone talk about him

Apparently, old-time fans of breakcore are unhappy about Sewerslut attracting attention to their favorite genre and diluting it with ambient drum'n'bass. Sure, this meme is ironic, but it does represent their attitude in a hyperbolic form.
