Hard-boiled eggs, I boil half a dozen at a time and keep them in the fridge and pick one up on my way out.
This is such an efficient snack. A+ morning preparation.

When I have time to make a large breakfast: I will typically make eggs, bacon, and waffles with black coffee. If I do not have time though, hard boiled eggs or poached eggs is just fine with some coffee.

Every time I try this I almost end up blind from exploding eggs. I am meticulous and try to follow the techniques exactly, but still, things turn out terribly when I try to put eggs into an electrical appliance (like a microwave, not a dishwasher:tomgirl:)

I got an egg poacher from Walmart or Target for really cheap... You can just crack the eggs, put them in the poacher, and then place it in the microwave for 1-1:30 minutes... I've never had problems with it and its really easy to clean... If you have just a bowl, putting clear wrap over it will keep it from exploding all over.

I love breakfast so much. Too much. Much agreed, I could so easily live off breakfast foods. I could eat eggs just about any way except as flan.

If it's a weekday, a cereal bar or packet of Belvita. At the weekend, it's got to be a bacon butty with plenty of HP sauce on thick white bread. Proper thick rashers of bacon, too, none of that shrivelled up crap you get from some places.

I usually have enough time in the morning to cook a decent breakfast, but one those days I'm running behind I'll take a thick slice of ham, warm it up in the microwave, and throw that onto any bread-like product I happen to have on hand (english muffin, tortilla, etc) with a slice of cheese.
