You have to understand, there is a lot of advertising that needs to be done. Trailers, press releases, interviews, etc etc. Brianna, being the well-known celebrity she is, is naturally going to be overwhelmed with the amount of involvement it entails. She is a very important person and all of this takes a lot of time that she must find a way to work into her very busy schedule.
Voldemort is inherently more fuckable than Flynt.

Incorrect. Two backers have publicly asked for refunds on the KS alone and the feedback on the thread's been huge.

Well. most of them don't have money, because you have to have a job to have money. Wu's got the right idea by targeting the tech neckbeard "Nice Guy" crowd, which is the one segment of the SJW-osphere that does have money, but even with them you can only get so far without offering them some hope of getting a whiff of china. Look how fast Alison Rapp zoomed past Wu in the Patreon power rankings - and also look what she had to offer to do so.
The next step in milking these guys isn't more Patreon scamming, it's producing "respectful feminist erotica" for male SJW permavirgins.

The issue is not whether or not the backers actually chargeback, whether or not they get refunds, or whether or not this leads to a ripple effect. The issue is solely how this reflects on Brianna Wu. And from the looks of it....

A concern I have is that Wu will attempt to contact any vocal backers and try to kiss their asses and sell them the sob story of "GG ruins everything. This is how many death threats I've had this week" or intimidate them with false credentials and idle threats to their career. Normally I wouldn't consider that a likely scenario since I think a good chunk of people would see passed that bullshit but we're dealing with individuals who saw Revolution 60 and thought "I want to throw some money at that". Shit will have a harder time reaching a boiling point if that happens and this is one of the more interesting things she's done lately. Well, besides tastelessly using her dead dog for sympathy and attention.

Not all that likely. It's more possible for that backfire badly, as every time Wu has stepped outside hugboxes he tightly controls, he's been mauled for it, and every attempt Wu has ever made at blackmail has sooner or later blown up into an even worse issue than the one he attempted to head off.
Not to mention Wu's influence off Twitter is a joke, and even that is more apparent than real since even many SJWs think he's a piece of shit.
