Recently they changed it so anyone can get verified if they dox themselves to Twitter. So it's no longer a mark of importance like it used to be. Milo got in under the old criteria, and Wu notoriously didn't no matter how many times she tried.

I would say it was done intentionally to drum up pity points, but since the previous false flag attempts by the Wus were so incompetent it may be she's just that stupid. :\

And the funniest part is, now that they devalued the checkmark, Wu can never have another chance to officially prove she's one of the Big Kids. That ship has permanently sailed and I'm sure it's eating her up inside.
