it was actually "One in seven women - and one in four women under 30", and "Wu is one of the many victims of Gamergate, the misguided movement by men who want to keep women out of gaming." but I've been wanting to stick "CyberJihad" in someone's mouth re: GamerGate for a while. the "tell" was supposed to be the first statistic being a reference to Flynt's favorite Star Trek character.

that said, it's funnier if you imagine tech support got high af and put that in an article, so in my headcanon, there is no such thing as Inspect Element.

Oh for fucks sake. Just play CS:GO or LoL for 10 minutes and there's gonna be a 100% chance of being insulted and threatened. "Oh no, someone was rude over the internet! Call the FBI!" . . . I just wish people would finally understand that being called a massive cunt on Twitter isn't the same as having a guy with a knife leering at you.

Wu believes Google is not strict enough about hate speech in YouTube's videos and comments. If you search for "Brianna Wu" on YouTube, a number of defaming videos come up, including "Transexual Brianna Wu has declared she is the Godzilla of feminism" and "Brianna Wu's ego and lies in seven seconds."

I doubt Wu does much of anything outside the home if she can't be the center of attention. She has absolutely no real social skills so I doubt she would do anything in a group setting. Now that I'm thinking about it, has there actually been any single instances where someone contacted Wu on Twitter and said something like "Hey, thanks for hanging out with us today. We had a great time." This doesn't include anywhere where she was a speaker- just anywhere social.

Furthermore, she would probably take something like sewing or crafting to be sexist and would pontificate to the women that they are in the wrong for liking doing stuff like that and instead follow her lead and do something like wear skin-tight latex and drive on Kawasakis or drink congealed algae and play Peggle.

I don't think so. Anything that's been posted has been about cons or when she pretended to have dinner parties where she played answering machine harassment for laughs.

Wu would be eaten alive by Etsy hipsters and ol' blue hairs. I'd love to see her try directly taking swipes at the demographic tho. Gays are pretty well represented.
