I've never seen Star Trek, but I seem to be more aware of its role in televised diversity for America than Wu is, even though he seems to view himself as some massive fan/expert on it.

well, consider that Johnny didn't watch Star Trek until after all of the spinoffs had ceased airing and the JJ Abrams reboot hadn't come out yet...

wu probably weren't even a woman at that point.png

Wu, you complete spanner.

Over-prescription of opiates and opioids is the reason that the average heroin user in America is now a middle-class white woman in her 20s, and the average first-time user is a white person in their late 20s, and part of the problem is tards like you posting shit like this - half of the replies to this are people expecting to be given morphine for a fucking broken bone, or the guy asking if the people behind the poster don't understand that there are legitimate uses for opiates.

Yes, they do understand. And morphine for a broken arm is not one.

There's literally nothing daft about this poster.

Edit: So I looked up what Advil was because I'm not familiar with US brand names. It's fucking Ibuprofen.

PRACTICE CHANGER
Use ibuprofen instead of acetaminophen with codeine for pediatric arm fractures. It controls the pain at least as well and is better tolerated.1-3

In single-dose studies, ibuprofen comes out ahead
The smaller of the 2 trials (N=66) compared ibuprofen alone vs ibuprofen plus oxycodone for suspected orthopedic injury. The researchers found that pain relief was equivalent, but the oxycodone group had more adverse effects.2 The larger trial (N=336) compared ibuprofen, acetaminophen, and codeine for acute pediatric musculoskeletal injuries. An hour after receiving their study drug, children in the ibuprofen group had significantly greater reduction in pain than those in either the acetaminophen group or the codeine group. They were also more likely to report adequate analgesia.3 Neither study followed patients after discharge from the ED.

(Reuters Health) - Considering what pain medication to give your kid with a broken arm? Ibuprofen - marketed as Advil - is just as good as the potent combination of acetaminophen (Tylenol) plus codeine, with fewer side effects, according to a new study

For fucks sake, Wu.

So what the fuck is she even doing when it comes to making her game right now? She only had two more things to do. There's only so long you can spend on "tightening up the graphics on level 3" before everyone knows you're fucking around doing nothing.
Yeah but if anyone calls him on it he'll just cry about trans soggy knees and get their twitter suspended.

I was going to say something about how The Expanse, which Wu is a fan of, is a great example of how boring "realistic" space combat is, but the episode with a space battle was probably the best one. Good thing Wu took this a step further, though:

- it's "nacelles", you fusstrating individual.
- you're trying to give the Ex Astra Scientia guy an aneurysm, aren't you, John?
- why does anything in Revolution 60 look or behave the way it does? in-universe explanation, not just that the creator is a :tumblr:.

also everything @Cynical just said.

edit:

Yes.
More realistic space combat, like in The Expanse, is essentially a waiting game for things to come in range and calculating trajectories, jamming signals, shooting incoming missiles down and firing your own. The book did way better to describe the feel of it, but that is something that doesn't translate to the screen at all. It's some hybrid out of aerial and naval combat, but in every battle between two vessels (or anything, really) you essentially gain massive advantage, if you stay unnoticed for as long as possible, get into position and strike quickly enough, so the other side hasn't much time to react. The interesting part begins when you get into close range (Gauss cannons and the like). But even then a fight can be over in a flash, since most spaceships are essentially brittle eggshells tumbling through space. Acceleration is also a factor, if you are in a maneuverable vessel. People would be flung all over the bridge with every sharp turn, acceleration or slowing-down the ship makes. Everyone needs to be strapped into chairs for this. As an example: If you cut the engines (as seen in the video) everyone should experience Zero-G rather quickly, since it is the acceleration what keeps their feet to the floor.

For fucks sake, Wu.
I'll just put this here:

It's likely being artificially boosted. It was dipping under 2,040 just a day or two ago, so it's likely getting propped up.
There's often a spike downwards at the first of every month, when they're supposed to get paid. I think it has to do with the system they introduced at the end of last year where it tracks money they get instead of money pledged and people pulling out of pledging or getting declined, but I'm not sure.

The one thing I know about Captain Kirk as a character is the guy tried to fuck everything that moved, yet his character kissing a black woman while being fucking mind controlled was apparently too much for numerous Southern states to broadcast. Yet Wu is expecting there to have been open gay relationships? He might be talking about the later series, but from googling the most recent ended in 2005. The US only started to show majority support for same-sex marriages in 2010, and I'm pretty sure even in 2005 seeing two gays kiss on TV would be enough to cause a shitstorm - when did Madonna kiss Britney?
There was actually a lesbian kiss on Deep Space 9 in 1995.

There was also a TNG episode in 1990 that flirted with gender identity and gender fluidity:

But we all know that if there isn't hardcore uncensored gay sex for the progressive audience to fawn over, it doesn't count.

This is probably the lowest figure I've seen her Patreon at ever since I joined the forums. It's still $2089 too much, though.

It constantly dips below 2000. About a week ago it was at 513 and around $1983, but it mysteriously, as it always does, popped right back up to 530+ and 2000+.

If you think Wu's Patreon is legit successful, I got a bridge to sell. Ample evidence exists that she's been artificially inflating it.

I was just thinking that. She actually looks like a woman. Still rocking the underboob belt, I see. Gotta hide that gut.
Makes me wonder why Wu doesn't wear corsets instead of the same fugly gutbelt all the time, but that would involve 1) buying new clothes and 2) effort. Tying corsets takes a lot of time that could be better spent refreshing Twitter every five seconds!

Oh God no. I kind of like corsets and Wu wearing one would turn me off. Anyway, it wouldn't suit her. She needs something like shapewear so she can wear her ripped jeans and tshirts. I'm surprised she hadn't gotten her hands on some earlier since she's clearly aware she's got stuff to hide around her belly.
