I think the simple answer is: look at Frank Wu. He's a fairly unattractive little guy who makes fanart and has a track record of being a miserable little shit in past relationships. Furthermore, when Brianna and Frank hooked up, he was well into his mid-40s, so the chance of hm finding a super-cute geek chick had long since passed him by.
I genuinely feel these two hold onto each other out of convenience. Frank holds onto her to feel young and relevant - and Brianna holds onto him since he's the one that gives her the ability to flush money down the shitter and pretend to be working on this game that has been "basically done" since December 2014.

Doxing you has become a bit of a sport. And people do it just to make you impotently flair your man-arms around in rage.
It's not like the information to find out who you are and what you did is that hard to come by.

Twitter, Wu's favorite social media platform, that only allows up to 130 characters per tweet. As Wu well knows, because that fact is used constantly to not have to explain in detail any of the dumb coming out of that mouth.

Wu also really wanted to have an article in Laurelai's SJWiki. That appears to be how they got in contact.
There was a lot of Wu-to-Laurelai tweets in 2014, but nothing since.
Laurelai is the queen mother of all crazy. I know we make fun of Flynt a lot here, and deservedly so, but Flynt is a Nobel-prize winning astronaut compared to Laurelai. It's not surprising that Flynt stopped paying attention so it's all one-way.
On paper, Frank is a very decent catch. Whatever the quality of his "fan art" it's just a hobby, not his career. His real career makes him a high-earner. He was in his 40s but a woman who didn't want kids wouldn't mind that too much.
I have no idea about his personality. He seems always over-eager to act like a child. Feels very compensating for something, don't know what.
I've participated in that speculation myself, but there is no reason to think this won't keep on keeping on. His life savings have been squandered, but that's already done. She will keep on doing the bored housewife thing for a long time, burning her Patreon money "none of which goes to her" on flying herself to various conferences and buying speaking gigs, and spending Frank's money on toys. (That is being charitable and taking her at her word about how she handles the Patreon money.)
There is some debate about whether Frank is the abusee or whether they are co-abusers. I'm in the former camp, but I fully admit it's likely to be my optimism: that he will someday get sick of being abused like he said Alison abused him, and leave. Among people in the other camp is @zedkissed60 who certainly seems to know a lot of information about Frank: he told us that Brianna was wife number three.
I haven't seek Brianna come up in Google News at all the past few days. Is there any way to get some idea of sale numbers for "her" book? Does Amazon have a way of viewing books by rank that would give a clue?

The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation is relatively "new" as a big beast in the UK financial markets, and was basically forced to relocate to the UK as its primary base by the Major government during its takeover of the Midland Bank between 92/93. Its traditional market has pretty much always been mainland China. It managed to expand massively into Europe and the USA over the last two decades which is something to be amazed by.
BUT ALAS, we are off topic.
You kind of wonder why Frank and Bri always act like kids, it's kind of weird and I dunno if it points to either a childhood they're trying to make up for, or even just never growing up...

Looking around, it looks like the book was selling, very roughly, maybe 20 copies a day a few days ago. I should have viewed the Amazon page at launch, when it would have been best. It's dropping rapidly through the Amazon ranks.
