Some of the things RocK_M backed are very problematic just going by the picture and name of the project and I bet Wu would find it fusstrating (maybe even impossible!) to even think about engaging with a shitlord like him.

Echo Tokyo - An Open World Dating Sim & Visual Novel
HuniePop: A Dating Puzzle RPG
Schoolgirls Love Tentacles (Suspended)
Kendo Crush! Visual Novel Game
Busty Barbarian Bimbos

He's also got a ton of comments in general (990).
Sounds like the sort of things Wu drew back in the day.

Amusingly, Rev60 probably looks exactly like the kind of game he would be into because it, at first, had a cartoonish style and sexualized characters. Also you might think "Mass Effect with an all girl cast," especially with this particular aesthetic, could reasonably imply gratuitous lesbo sex.

Wu calling for Twitter to punish those who 'out' LGBT folk is wonderfully Orwellian.

Wu spent over half her life as a man - if she wants to forget that ever happened that's her choice.

John is continuing to spend his entire life as a man.

oh no, oh no no no no, oh noooooo no no no.. it's literally there:

He's even fucking screamfacing in the YouTube thumbnail. How are those thumbnails so perfect? I think the AI that is doing those is going to turn into Skynet some day.

I cannot think of a game that would not be improved with the addition of gratuitous lesbian sex. Gratuitous lesbian sex is pretty much the whole reason the Moon Guard server exists in WoW.

Not if 'gratuitous lesbian sex' is going by the definition OPL considers...

That question wasn't supposed to have a right answer.

It can't ALL be gratuitous lesbian sex. Surely there's more then just sweaty nerds cybering out their night elves grinding with their draenei girlfriends (who are also played by sweaty nerds)...

God, could you imagine how horrible a Wu written sex scene would be? And how bad the lighting would be in the game?

"Dear diary:

in 11 days I will finally release my Jupiter on iOS and Steam. I am so excited!

I have not yet updated anything on Steam though, not even the developer version, because the process to upload my game files to Valve's servers requires me to employ a GUI interface using visual basic to track my BIOS settings while simultaneously tracking the workflow on github and making sure the files get exfiltrated from my system to theirs correctly.

That awful signing BUG I had with Apple I was telling you about has really engrained within me to be absolutely sure that what I do is proper or I might as well not bother trying. The awful people from GrumpyGoat and on the Kee Wee Plantage are making fun of me for even daring to ask about COMPLEX PROBLEMS! As if I'm some sort of schmuck... hah!

I'm sure not testing the newest version of my game in a dev and real environment on Steam is going to be fine, I mean, don't all the other developers update their versions on the day they release too? I'm sure they are. Lot's of promotional things to do and I have to feed frank Blue Apron or he'll go hungry again. Useless men can't even feed themselves... let alone play Peggle.

Anyway, talk to you soon,

<3

Bri"

I also love how you have to watch four minutes of unfunny to find out it's delayed six months. And by six months they meant three years.
With the way Wu posts on Twitter, you'd assume she's a particularly awkward and angry 15 year old kid. Her true age doesn't show until she or Frank try to do anything "funny" because they both have the sense of humor of middle-aged men.

The thing is Brianna would be a "woman" in tech if she just ran the studio and let the coding experts make the game. There are plenty of women that run significant portions of game/tech companies that arent in coding or engineering, and they are most certainly women in tech. But Brianna has this warped sense of needing validation as a techie.
That's exactly right imo, she wants the status associated with being a "tech person" and you don't really get that if you work in marketing for a startup or something. Marketing, sales, PR, etc are real jobs of course, but I do think the social perception (all Wu cares about) is different.

Reactions: The Nameless One
I thought "Heavy Rain meets Mass Effects" was a joke someone in the thread made up.

If I recall, that is the way that Wu described the game in an early interview, and then it somehow started getting attributed to critics' comments
The articles quoted Wu saying 'Mass Effect meets Heavy Rain,' then Wu started quoting the articles without mentioning they were quoting her.
