Two rebuttals:
1. If masking did anything to stymie transmission of the Wu Flu, we would've seen it reflected in the data by now. Instead, the case rates followed the same track in every state and nation, with no visible decline due to mask mandates. How a piece of cloth in front of your mouth is supposed to stop aerosol transmission is something that none of these public health talking heads have ever been able to elaborate on.
2. If vaccinated individuals can still catch and spread the virus, then the same logic applies as above. Why take a shot that is clearly not doing what you'd expect of a vaccine, especially if you're in a demographic group that has next to nothing to fear from the virus itself? Like children, who are statistically the least affected by the coof, yet some people seriously think that they need to be protected from life itself because they can't get the magic jab that will give them full immunity (even though nobody has gotten immunity from the vaccines).
And this is without getting into the "untold human misery and suffering" that people have already been put through over the past year and a half, though nobody seems to want to talk about how suicides and overdose deaths are up, businesses have shuttered permanently, and homes are being lost. Get the jab and wear the mask, you don't want Grandma to die, do you?
(As an aside, anytime you see an article about a kid or young adult dying of the coof, see if they included a picture. Almost without fail, they're a hamplanet. Maybe you shouldn't let your kid gorge themselves into coof comorbidity, you dumb fucks.)
