Y'know, for how much John says he's a supreme athlete, it's interesting that he's never participated in any kind of public run. He says he can run 10 miles easily, and a half marathon is only three more than that. Surely the Godzilla of Tech Feminism Running could handle that, no? I know that many people exercise merely for its own reward, but with how often John goes on about it, it would seem odd to an outside observer.
