I imagine what we've been seeing with Brianna's constant career/title changes is what John's family saw back in the college years. I wonder how many times his parents asked him what he was studying or looking for in a career and how many of those times John responded with a different answer. John Flynt's resume paints a picture of a person who had no focus or clue of what they wanted to do and was just looking for something that would stick (and hopefully lead to the fame and notoriety they desperately crave).

I was going to say that the SocCon characters (not the plot or whatever, explicitly just Holiday, Minuette, and whatever became Unknown) are about the only real lasting things in Flynt's life simply because they are identical almost despite nearly a decade of reapplication across mediums. But then I remembered Minnie is a rip-off of a Sailor Moon minor villain, Unknown exists purely to die, and Holiday is pretty much what Wu wants to be as a real person in the eyes of others. Characters with little effort put into them to begin with.
