It's just the usual screeching positing from the far-left in the Democratic Party which Wu represents because she's so batshit insane.
The reality is Lynch is a smart man and a smart congressman. He strikes me as the kind of guy who won't shift his tone until he's gotten a wider feel of what his constituents feel, and the fact he was touring for the past month kind of proves that. There'll be plenty of people who still won't like Trump and the Democrat-backing folks of District 8 prove that, but Lynch is also perfectly aware a lot of Blue Collars are flipping rapidly from the Dems to the Reps, and even those who don't back Trump are starting to see his speeches unfiltered and more in context. Cutting business taxes won't necessarily tilt the system "more for the billionaires" as it will also create potentially hundreds of thousands to millions of jobs.

It occurs to me now that maybe Wu was telling a half-truth about being invited to multiple start-ups to interview for board positions. Maybe Frank was the actual applicant to those posts, and since they only have one working car at present, John had to patiently sit outside the interview office and wait for Frank so they could go nerf-gun shopping afterwards.

Politics is the art of compromise, and you succeed by finding some way to agree even with your enemies on some topics while utterly disagreeing on others, and Lynch is being a wise politician by having the decency to admit Trump is not a totally unreasonable guy (he's not, he's known as a deal maker for a reason because the business world works in a similar fashion) and that the press coverage against him has been unfair, and as a political opponent, it would be a lie to claim he doesn't get a kick out of that.
Regardless, Lynch is not entirely sanguine on a lot of Trump's policies and plans to remain guarded on their effectiveness, which is certainly fair enough, and even I, who supported Trump, even I think his sledgehammer approach to the immigration issue was badly implemented even if I agree with the overall intent, so while I disagree politically with Lynch, I can concede he makes excellent points regardless.
Wu, on the other hand, is trying to regard this as a version of the Gamergate narrative, where one side is all holy and the other side is evil incarnate, and there is only the people who are right and the people who are wrong, and that sort of attitude is the death knell of getting anything meaningful done long term in politics.
Further, Wu does not give the impression he gives the slightest shit what his potential constituents think. They need bread on the table, not grandiose ideas. They need someone willing to swallow their pride and make deals in their interests instead of someone who refuses to compromise to the detriment of people whose lives depend on the occasional political compromise, and most of all, the public needs a servant, not someone who dreams of being an overlord over their subjects.

With this little thing, Wu has become a blip on the radar of a lot of rather popular news outlets and commentators vlogs, etc...
So, chances are, the moment she says something equally stupid, it could blow up the same way - hell, it might not even need something equally stupid. After all this, the threshold is significantly lower, since she's pretty much established as the delusional "this is why the dems lost" candidate.
So, let's hope she'll get into the spotlight of public ridicule again in the future... Wu's only talent is to make ridiculously uninformed claims via Twitter, we won't have to wait for long - the only question is: Will news outlets, etc. pick up on it again?
This is also the best way to lose a lot of voters that are torn between two candidates. By treating everyone as hostile that is not a 100% obedient slave, a candidate will lose all common ground with the moderate in-betweeners.
