Unless I'm missing a joke, I don't think many Southern Christians are disciples of Rome. Catholics tend not to be St James bible types.
If John wanted to beef his story up, he'd definitely say Catholic because 'Look! I'm so great I'm even getting backing from the real hardliners!'

I was running late for class so I put on my leather catsuit and rode my racing motorcycle at illegal speeds to get there.
At a stop light, construction workers cat called me "We believe in you Brianna, but also you are super sexy"
When, I got there, the door was locked, but it was taking place in a synagogue. When they saw me they were literally "oy vey we have accidentally locked out Brianna Wu, hero to all the Jews" and they let me in.
One of the reformers was broken, but I used my automotive mechanic knowledge to fix one of the springs...one of the other women had to move the spring b/c I'm a girly girl and don't even have the strength to deal with my very expensive laptop in an airplane overhead. I'm glad it worked out b/c it was a very exclusive class with not one, not two, but three famous people in it. i had to go through backchannels to get in

Mississippi dems want to someday win elections again. Dems used to win state-wide elections, and not too long ago, either. From what I've been able to see, neither the state's huge black population or the white population currently has any use for dems. The blacks blame them for letting in huge numbers of spic illegals who took the jobs blacks used to have in food processing, and for making the small manufacturing jobs that used to be done in the Delta go overseas with Nafta. Whites blame them for the same things, and being demagogic rabble-rousers only interested in screaming about the racism of many decades past and having no plans or desires to do anything but levy more taxes and make schools worse while punishing whites for the sins of generations past.

Doesn't matter, there were no meetings. Not with an adoption agency, not with friends, not with politicians of any kind.
 
Two observations:

1. John could just do pilates in his livingroom. He hopes his audience is too stupid to figure that out.
