My favorite was her bitching about the mechanics she had gone to see:
Do you have any recommendations for mechanics? I live near Porsche Burlington, but they are the absolute worst at service. Rude and ineffective. My one and only mod to the car is going to be upgrading the stereo to something with CarPlay, so I'd appreciate any advice about good stereo shops as well.

The tyre thread, where engineer Wu doesn't know what difference a smaller set of rims causes. He is also attempting to find ways to shave the cost, cos getting his iphone to connect to the stereo is the priority this winter, over winter tyres.

Then there's all the replies saying "Hi, I'm an engineer too" which means John is right out of his depth.

I can't. I just can't. It hasn't even been what, two weeks since he bought that thing? Maybe not even one? And now Bri is a lifelong Porsche lover. I laughed too hard at this.
 
I can't get over the fact this idiot thinks the trashed out TT is a car to drive in winter...

More like... I over paid for a lemon to begin with, sank $11,000 (MORE than the car is worth!) and can't unload the frankenaudi.

Sounds like his Porsche was rode hard and put away wet/dumped before the major maintenance needed to be done.

Why not just get rid of Income tax (which wasn't always a thing anyway) and increase capital gains taxes?
Not enough to substitute income tax, but the government shouldn't even be getting all the cash it gets. It can afford to be a good deal smaller. It should be, even.

I can't get over that Brianna is obsessed with expensive sports cars but doesn't know how to drive a stick shift. I guess it's like being obsessed with being a game maker but not making games, or being obsessed with being a politician but not bothering to campaign.
 
So brianna gets smug in one thread saying that she doesn't think it's necessary to get a car checked by a mechanic, but then also states her Porsche already has issues. For a little extra layer of stupidity she talks about her diagnostic app.
I haven’t used it with my Cayman yet, but I have a cheap ODB2 WiFi reader that is amazing. Like 20 bucks, but it can tell you many of the error codes. Connects to your iPhone. Simple and functional. Good thing to have.

Since restoring my Audi TT 8N required a lot of reprogramming the electronics, I invested in a VAGCom. Cannot recommend it if you are not a computer person, but it will tell you everything you want to know and more.

It's weird she invested in a VAGCom but wasn't able to get a real one. She even gave up her CoCKScanner for it.
