Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt - "Biggest Victim of Gamergate," Failed Game Developer, Failed Congressional Candidate

In this case this mass shooting happened because everybody, Literally fucking EVERYBODY in authority dropped the ball on this dude and failed the kids. All the kids knew this was coming. They knew what this guy was. He scared the shit out of them. They reported it over and over. Dude got his backpack privileges taken away. He finally got expelled last year due to dangerous behavior. Yet still he made it back in. He was reported to the FBI in October for making rather chilling school shooting threats on a YouTube videos comments. The Youtubers called the FBI. They (the innocent Youtubers who reported it.) got interviewed twice by the FBI. But nobody did anything about the actual psycho walking around. “See something, say something, but don’t expect anybody to actually do something as non action is ultimately job security.”

Do something like what, though? That's where it comes back to the mental health issue. Being a creep who looks like he'll shoot up a school isn't a crime, so the FBI isn't going to be able to send you to prison for it. Threats can be a crime but it's often a tough case- here he said something to the effect of "I'm gonna be a professional school shooter" which is indeed chilling but could easily be played off as some stupid shit said in a youtube comments section. How about forced psychological evaluation and possibly commitment? Maybe, but again, someone who is murderous but not psychotic can often fool shrinks. And the US has moved far away from the old ways which was to lock people up in institutions.

It's tough to actually implement this stuff, which is why Wu finds it so exciting to be able to sperg on twitter without having any actual responsibility. I am sure Wu would be perfectly happy to throw people in nut houses who are white males with a conservative viewpoint but the moment someone like one of the academic cows (kevin allred, giraffe neck, etc) start threatening people on twitter he'll consider it a violation of rights to lock em up.

Wow. John took all the effort to purge his twitter leading up to the campaign, which was probably a good move, yet he just can't seem to stop spewing dumb shit.
He couldn't even do that right. He used some second-rate site to do the clean up for him and all it seemed to do was kind of hide the tweets. If you search for some of the stupid ones we've captured over time, they're still around (well, except the ones Wu actually did delete).

The kid made comments about shooting up the school, was reported to the FBI, and then legally bought an AR-15 to shoot up a school. Something’s broken with the system and it’s not just lack of mental health services.

Bunty puts John in his crosshairs; responses from Rep John W. Flynt baleeted so unfortunately I wasn't able to grab the threads. I think you get the idea, though :autism::autism::autism:

Just looking through Warren Lynch's FB photos and saw this pic. I think Frank or someone shared a different pic from this day where Brianna towered over everyone, apologies if the pic has been shared and I missed it:

Looking in Brianna's FB page and this pic shocked me. I've checked back in Brianna's old thread and this wasn't posted at the date she posted it on FB, but I guess it might have been posted at some other time.

Is that woman with Brianna who I think it is? I'm not even going to write her name because it's just wrong that this person would be next to Wu, but there's no hits next to her name when you search. I think this woman is top level famous.

Again, apologies if they've been posted before because they are old, but if that woman is who I think she is it just blows my mind Brianna was allowed within 500m of her.

The broken part is the kid was expelled from school for violent or dangerous acts. Had a long local police history including cruelty to animals, and then started talking school shooting on the interwebz. Using his own name. When the FBI punched it in the subject of “likes to shoot neighbors cats and dogs” should have come up. There is clearly a bit of a reporting problem that needs to be fixed before they talk about any new laws. Get the ones we already have working and implemented first.

RodgerDodger - So are you coming round to Brianna's point of view that the cops and FBI should be arresting people for posting dumb shit on the internet? He wrote: "Im going to be a professional school shooter" which means absolutely sweet fuck all. If that gets you a visit from the cops then a million kids and asshole dudes are getting in trouble too.

Who is it?

TL;DR: Local law enforcement is starting to noise that the white supremacist dicknose claimed this kid was one of theirs for attention and not because it was, you know, true.

Shit, I called that when I got the push alert for that this morning. On the topic of Wu though, like most he's a fucking idiot when it comes to politicizing a tragedy. Even if people agree with the point you're trying to make, the average person is going to be very turned off by someone trying to use freshly cooling corpses as a fucking soap box.

Not at all. I'm saying when they punched his name into the Database a match should have popped up in Florida that said "Numerous Law Enforcement Incidents involving discharge of firearms at neighbors pets. School expulsion related to violent acts". That should have triggered a more intensive investigation. Maybe including "just submitted background check for AR-15 purchase." There's a point where the threat becomes fairly obvious. Those kids clearly recognized it for a long time.

(So did Wu's classmates for that matter. Looking at that above picture where he looks strikingly like a Batman villain you can understand why.)
