I think he programmed on Palm the same way kids programmed on their Ti-82, I think he even mentioned tapping in code from magazines or something like that. I've speculated about it in the past but it's possible that at some point Wu opted for the cooler Palm instead of a regular graphing calculator, it seems like a Wu thing to do. Checking the release date of the Palm(1997) lines up with Wu's self-professed teen years but not his human years, he was out of high school by then. Fuck, I liked that theory.

A couple of reasons beyond what others have touched on:

1. Brianna is a compulsive liar to an extraordinary degree. I don't know if he's capable of being completely honest so, even if she were to break her most sacred lie, I'd expect him to try saying he's not John Flynt.

2. She's in far too deep with this particular lie. Admitting to being trans creates a whole slew of problems she has no answer for, completely wrecks things like her carefully pruned Wikipedia page, and gives problematic sources like us more credibility.

John was pretty much outed by the Washington Post. Even their correction infamously only went so far as to say "Brianna Wu identifies as a woman," which was about as frosty a burn as you'll ever see them give to a Democrat (but then as a Democrat John would be a gigantic liability if his grift ever achieved a truly national profile). I think at this point it's more that he's totally committed to the revisionist dogma that demands bans on "deadnaming," which of course is to his benefit because it allows him to avoid a whole raft of embarrassing questions, not to mention the multiple inconsistencies about his past. The strategy now seems to be always, always to deflect such questions if they ever come up -- "Even if I were trans, you'd have no right to know anything about my former identity! Trans women are women, even when they're men!" Etc. But I doubt we're going to see him flat out claim he was born a woman from here on out (though there will probably be some indirect, slippery claims made in that direction, like implying he played with Transformers as a little girl without actually saying "as a little girl").

Do none of John’s followers realize he’s basically tweeting like the krassensteins? He’s tweeting liberalism 101 talking points and “orange man bad!”.

just a question since i'm really curious.

powerlevel, my wife has wikipedia acct and tries to edit entries about bad 80s/90s rock bands and other stupid shit and they delete 'questionable' or unsubstantiated content in about 2 minutes. maybe 50% of her entries stay as she wrote it.

how does Wu get the power to control what's on his wikipedia if rock bands don't? it must be more than just having your own acct. some kind of inside-influence at wikipedia? wikipedia trannies?

i expect lots of the trannies to try this.

It sure does seem that those who scream loudest about being "dead named" are those with a very shitty history they want to hide. (Hi, John! Yes, you.)

That Wikipedia aids and abets this obfuscation is just another reason to laugh at the idea they are in any way a reliable source on anything.

Harvey Weinstein needs to get his shit together and rename himself Dierdre Truwaman, and all his problems will be solved at a fraction of the cost of his current legal fees.
