🐱 Brie Larson Rumored To Play A Jedi More Powerful Than Vader In New Star Wars Show

CatParty

At this stage, nobody’s going to be surprised if Brie Larson shows up in a future Star Wars movie or TV series. After all, the actress has hardly been shy when it comes to admitting her lifelong love of the franchise, and she even unsuccessfully auditioned for The Force Awakens before she was an Academy Award winner and star of a billion-dollar comic book blockbuster.

The 31 year-old has already been linked with a multitude of projects including the mystery film in the works from her Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige, while there’s also near-constant talk that she’s high on Disney’s list of candidates when it comes to casting the next major female lead for a galaxy far, far away.

So far, nothing has been confirmed just yet, but a recent rumor has claimed that the Captain Marvelstar will play a Jedi named Maeve in a Star Warsseries set in a brand new timeline that would see her character established as being more powerful than Darth Vader and Rey combined. The plot will reportedly focus on her tracking down a mysterious MacGuffin that controls the very essence of the Force, while there are naturally bad guys hot on her tail.

Of course, we should mention that the story comes from Mike Zeroh, who has a reputation for doling out very hit-or-miss information regarding Star Wars, to the extent that he was openly mocked on social media by Rian Johnson, with The Last Jedi director revealing that the crew used his name as a verb for something that was wide of the mark, specifically comparing him to trash. Ouch.

We certainly advise taking this with a grain of salt, then, but Zeroh has gotten a couple of scoops right in the past and the more we hear about Brie Larson’s affinity for Star Wars, the more it feels like she’s destined to play a role in the beloved sci-fi universe one day in the not too distant future.

something that is squarely at the fault of George Lucas, as well.

i mean, it's been a long fucking time since I saw star wars but i don't fucking remember darth vader being literal space jesus until episode 1 came out. he was just some dude that was seduced into being bad and helped kill all his brothers.
Obviously you didn't watch the end of Return of the Jedi. Vader sacrificed himself to save his son, and ultimately the galaxy, by turning on his master. Knowing that he originally turned to the Dark Side to save his wife from the promise of Palpatine, only to kill her in a fit of rage inspired by the Dark Side, with him at the end of his life now knowing he finally has the power to save the one he loves only makes that scene more powerful.

None of it mattered. Palpatine was still alive and continues on as if nothing happened, Luke dies because he sat on a rock or something. Because reasons, you sexist.

I do not give a shit what some kike from disney says happens, and I find myself much happier ignoring the shit spewed from the rat's diseased mouth.

none of that has to do with him being the literal strongest one ever or a fucking chosen one.

Anakin wasn't the strongest one ever, did you not watch the fight between him and Obi-Wan in Revenge of the Sith? They matched eachother equally until Obi-wan was finally able to get the advantage, after that the fight ended quickly. As for him being the chosen one? He was the one that ultimately destroyed the Sith, he threw his treacherous master to his death at the cost of his own life to save his son, casting off and destroying the Dark Side. While the Prequel trilogies certainly could have used either a forth film or a tighter timeline for Anakin, with a few awkward moments, for the most part I felt it did its job well. OT boomers and EU purist fags who endlessly complain about it are a major reason for the destruction of Star Wars.

He only beat obi wan in new hope bc obi wan shut off his own lightsabre

Basically, yeah. I mean, I appreciate some fiction and I like to sperge about it ... but there is a point where I'm reading some tard going on about how the Imperial Shitswirrler super-mega Star Destroyer had 3000 TIE fighters and not 2500 and I just want to go CHRIST aren't you ashamed of yourself for acting like this shit is a) real and b) matters? I mean, even the most boring Civil War re-enactors are learning about something that is real and does matter.
I was surprised to find out StarDestroyer.net and SpaceBattles didn't have threads here when I first started lurking. They were always such pits of autism when it came to that.

stop shoving Brie Larson down our throats, she was alright in Captain Marvel but god damn she's not the best actress in the world.

of course there's going to be free publicity because people will be nitpicking everything Brie Larson does which of course leads to critical immunity and free publicity for Disney cause "nobody can cancel her and if you do you're a nazi".

Dude I thoguht you were joking at first but damn I think you're serious now. Get laid.

Brie Larson is just a way for Twitter feminists to live vicariously through the medium of Mary Sue. Of course Mary Sue Larson Jedi is going to be the strongestest ever, who gives a shit about things like setting consistency? Of course Mary Sue Captain Marvel is the best at everything and shrugs off punches from Thanos in what was supposed to be a serious fight, she's the Mary Sue power. Don't you forget it.

Any character played by Brie Larson is strong enough not only to effortlessly kill any antagonist, but also almost any fanbase. Nobody even remembers her roles, they just remember how annoying she is.

The prequels making Vader some sort of alleged super jedi who was prophesized to be some great uniter was retarded, but not even the most retarded thing.

Making ALL Jedi's super wizards is what ruined Star Wars. It's completely fucking retarded to continuously give them stronger and stronger super powers and then have them get wasted by some fucking troops at the drop of a hat.

It also makes them completely fucking boring.

I remember her role as the daughter on United States of Tara. But only because she had a subplot where she became a cam whore known for sitting on cakes.

It funny cause she has no ass.

Largely because the pre-existing starwars fan base was pretty cancer and drove George Lucas to finally cave in and sell Star Wars to Disney.

It's pretty obvious the old star wars fan base was toxic as hell, literally pushing phantom menace actors to near suicide and not just the typical "im an internet feminist and I got death threats kind of way". They pushed Lucas to the point that he actually said fuck it, and sold his company to Disney (something he said he never wanted to do because he hated the company and wanted to keep his vision more pure for the fans).

Disney gets the franchise in an ultimate fuck you to the fanbase that drove him to it, and once Disney had it- they pretty much knew they had to milk the franchise and try and expand their fan base past the one that got off on sending hate mail to Lucas;

Ergo "Lets cater to women, the old fans will hate whatever we make anyways, so fuck it".

I am disappointed by the way the Disneyverse has been handled and it does make me really sad at various points because of the stuff they got rid of and how stupid it is, but on the other hand Star Wars fans set themselves up for failure for sperging out so hard over the prequel trilogies, never shutting up, and crying like babies for years till George sold the company. Frankly, we deserve the disney wars stuff.
Haha you think grown ass millionaires get bullied by Star Wars fans

This is the most childish shit ever. Everyone shits on the 'male power fantasy' but now females have to be super powerful right off the bat. Whatever happened to struggling to earn power? You know, show, don't tell? But it doesn't matter, this will fail like most Disney Star Wars projects. Mando was a happy accident and is probably going to be an isolated incident.
