There used to be a kind of cool list of site statistics. It'd be nice to have stuff like that and graphs of general activity (not potentially privacy-invading things like individual stats).

I remember an earlier version of the site had auto-generated stats. Maybe I'm misremembering from another XF site years ago. Anyway it's probable it's keeping enough site logs to auto-generate stats and graphs. I think Advanced Forum Stats is one such add-on.

We should have a real time counter of how many times the word autistic or retarded is posted and we can compare the two in real time

Are you referring to the post ratings stats that used to be on each profile on older versions of the site, the one that kept track of stickers?

I might just be totally misremembering, or confusing it with a number of posts Null has made with overall site statistics like most people online at a time, most posted-in threads, most read threads, etc.

Bumping this because I think something like this would be a cool idea, even if it's just a thread where Null or whoever can post any interesting info. For instance, a few weeks ago we were sitting at about peak 3000-3300 users online each day, then when Balldo and co got arrested it spiked to 4000+, which gradually went down and stabilized a bit, but it stabilized to higher than it was before, at around 3400-3800ish, which implies that the Balldoverse collapse brought in more permanent users. (I'm just going by memory, take these numbers with a grain of salt, they could be off by a few hundred.) Stuff like this is interesting to me and I wonder if anyone like null or mods or whoever has any insight on these things and are willing to show graphs and shit.
