Britain's most tattooed man is calling for people with body modifications to be given equal opportunities and claims he has been the victim of 'hate crime' because of his unusual appearance.
Matthew Whelan, who now goes by the name King of Ink Land King Body Art The Extreme Ink-Ite or Body Art for short, says he did not transform his appearance for attention and is 'amazed' at some of the reactions he gets.
Body Art, from Birmingham, has almost every inch of his body tattooed and has dyed both of his eye whites black.
He has even removed his nipples so tattoo artists to have a smoother canvas to work on and has a crown-shaped implant embedded under the skin on his right hand.
In 2015 Body Art said his unusual looks were making it difficult for him to find work.
'I personally find it really difficult to get my head around it because there are companies out there that employ people on merit,' he said.
'There are [body] modified friendly companies. But the majority are like: "Look at these people! You look different from everyone in our office. You're different. You don't fit our criteria. We're not employing you." That's frustrating.'
