That's the thing though. A lot of people on the spectrum fixate on relatively harmless things (trains, planes, cartoons etc.) and nobody bats an eyelid because those are socially acceptable.

As I pointed out a long time ago, a lot of Bryce's special interests seem to orbit around common themes. He likes cartoon characters with big, distended bellies; he has an odd fascination with pregnancy (where women get big, distended bellies); and he has a thing for Bumpbows (which are intended for use by pregnant women). It's all completely :autism:, but there is a sort of logic in how his interests can be linked.

I don't think he's emotionally mature enough for this to be a full-blown sexual thing, but I'm almost positive it's something fetishistic in nature.

I think they are, but the mods at DA suck- it took an eternity and a half for them to banhammer all of Alex's accounts, and she's nearly* as autistic as Bryce is.
