• He latches onto vulnerable women and fucking drains them. Ishita was still coping with her miscarriage and (I believe) suffered from some sort of mental illness; Brydon moves all his shit into her house within a month against her telling him that they were moving too fast.
• He expects everyone to make him the center of their world and will publicly shit on them for not centering him. I've already mentioned when he did it to his children, but I think that Ishita also deserves special mention because he knows that she's a member of the Her community and so he of course uses his position of power on that site to call her abusive. One can't help but wonder if Sedonia's own psychotic dedication to her relationship with Brydon is rooted in fear of what he'll do if she fails to please him.

He's just as morally repugnant as he is visually. Probably moreso.

Sane parents learn very quickly children are not automatons. That trying to give ultimatums is something only to be done when you can actually follow through. If the kids don't accept his "authentic self" by the date...wtf happens Bryli? Are you going to stop seeing them? Because right now that seems to be what they want. And who can blame them when Daddy has completely upended their lives and wants them to accept radical change in their lives in a blink of an eye?

Sane parents know children like routine and a stable environment so they'll try to adhere to a set schedule. In addition to what the fellow just before me suggested, I'm thinking two factors. One, the 330K figure folks dug up is software engineer money, and he may only be making IT guy money, which is way below that level. Two, either way, he's in Sunnyvale, which is one of the most expensive parts of the bay area, which is already brutally expensive in general. Even with a roommate he could be flushing scary amounts of money just on a place to hang his hat.
