I can't really say for sure. My guess is how he goes about picking and grooming his victims. Everything is their fault. They are the shy nerds with no backbones. Easy to manipulate and push blame on. Well sans Liz. Liz is crazy on her own level.

If it comes to why their parents don't do anything, I'm guessing they are not informed until well after the fact. Gabby was from a heavily religious family and likely had parents who believed nothing happened. Or he'll make her his wife in exchange for a goat. No idea.

A more serious answer is Bryon hit people from everywhere. Texas, Washington, Indiana. Also other countries. Things get sticky on that scale unless it's a large offence. Also, Bryon comes from parents with oil money. They pay for his condo. His car. He is like the story book rich kid who gets to do whatever he wants.

Oh 'technically' it's a broken home. Since he was raised by his mom and step dad. Don't know his current work but he did sales for some car or moving company? Not great work but his parents paid the difference. He also got away with whining for donations to buy consoles and other shit he wantted.

Pretty sure it's in one of Lashiec's write ups. She knew him in high school and knows his life situation.

I believe the reason this has been brought up again is because Kirb has recently posted a Kickstarter that got funded, like, instantly.

I'm not really sure where else to put this since this is the only other place Kirb has been talked about, and while he's pretty closely connected to Psyguy I don't think that dude has much to do with this.

I'm pretty sure Kirb made a whole long post about Psyguy back when the whole thing was still fresh in everyone's minds. Pretty sure it was posted on here too.

They want him to either confess to being just as much a piece of shit as Psy or post a long essay of why Psy is literally Hitler and how he always hated him. Pretty much what happens any time an Internet celebrity has drama.

In this case, Psy WAS an actual shithead, but the exact same thing happened when WSJ claimed PewDeePie was a Nazi or when Jontron was accused of being a white supremacist: anyone with any connection to said person whatsoever must either immediately denounce him as problematic or be accused of being just as bad as he supposedly is. It’s why people immediately tried to get Jon removed from Yooka-Laylee. They went to the developer and said “hey, this voice actor in you game said a thing we don’t like. Are YOU supporting that kind of talk, hmm?”

People just want to start more drama and pressure others into supporting their side. Kirb’s response was the best way to say his peace and move on without getting dragged into more drama.

I remember way back in the day, somewhere between 2001 and 2003 and I got into sprite-based web comics. I thought they were cool (probably because I'm a gamer and the idea of making comics with vidya game resources was a new idea to me at the time). I genuinely thought Psy had some funny shit back in my edgy teenage days and he had some connections to some artists (both traditional and sprite based) that I enjoyed. I didn't know any of the drama surrounding him and when his site when down I just moved on to new sources of entertainment.

About two years ago I come across A YT vid talking about him shutting his site down because of... well, what's been discussed here. It honestly still blows my mind a little that this is the same guy. I didn't have any connection to the guy, I thought Wha-chow was boring and mostly stuck around for his web comics and when they dried up I forgot about him. Its like Markiplier or Doug walker going offline permanently for 10 years and you suddenly find out they were eating people or something.

Doesn't make him less of a piece of shit though.

In regards to Psy himself, his YouTube channel is still up and running. Looks like he averages about 1,200 views a video.

I thought the name Dii sounded familiar. Looks like that is TripleWipe45, the one who called out Psy.
 
Ah yes, Psyguy, the guy who pretty much made Sonic sprite comics "popular". I used to love some of his stuff when I was a dumb teenager, but even through the facade he put up you could still see his laziness and little cracks of his ego. He would often steal jokes and during certain periods find the cheapest laziest ways to make his comics. I think the crown jewel would be when he made entire comics using this Smash Brothers Brawl posing software. Bonus lazy points to the Brawl Comic where all they did was quote Metal Gear Awesome and that was the punchline.

Another time I remember was when he was going to make a Bastardized (read: Abridged) Series on Sonic X. On the prior update video, he suggested Sega should use his voice for Sonic the Hedgehog (if it wasn't that video, it was one of them), and acknowledged that while there were already abridged series of X, that they could do "a liiiiiittle bit better". There is no existing evidence of this, but from what I could remember, it was pretty bad. You could barely ever hear the voices, and Rouge the Bat was literally just YGO Abridged Mai Valentine, because back in 2008 that was considered by many to be a tribute and not a shameless ripoff. Why Little Kuriboh agreed to do her voice is beyond me. Why someone like Little Kuriboh would associate with that asshole for so long is also beyond me. Some of his other cringey Bastardized series are still on youtube though.

I always knew he had a bit of an ego, but when I discovered all this 4 years back I was honestly shocked.

This will be a bit of a ramble because this is the cow that I have more or less followed for nearly five years now. In my more formative years I used to listed to his podcast as a matter of routine. It's really sad to see the state that he's in today given how much I used to look up to him but it's time to give this story an epilogue.

After the initial call-out post, the one person that stuck by him adamantly was Fred Wood who initially saw it as a smear campaign, which he vaguely alludes to in one of his episodes of his now-defunct podcast "The Ban'dcast". That all changed around the end of 2017, amidst the Harvey Weinstein scandal. Fred made this tweet (Archive) basically publicly disowning Psyguy. Not sure if Psy ever responded to that tweet, as he switched Twitter handles from @SuperPsyguy to @BitPolarGame .

A few months after that, his "harassment brigade" comes back in droves. A quick search of his username reveals that they were trying to raise awareness of Psy's old handle and all the desperate attention-whoring and child-grooming behavior of his from ten years ago. He then privated his twitter account and from what I can tell deleted all his tweets.

This was where I last stopped following him. I would occasionally check his YouTube channel for signs of life, but he slowly petered out. He stopped uploading videos for almost a year straight. (From this video in December 2017 to this one in November 2018 ).

He rebranded his entire channel, changing names once again from Bitpolar to Brinnstar. He streams every night on Twitch. He's only been at it for the last few months, though I can only imagine that if this pattern of behavior keeps up it won't be long until he changes names once his following gets large enough and people call attention to him again.

If you really want to hear how badly his soul has broken from all this though, this video says it all (Archive). TL;DR if you can't make it through his half-hour long screed, he go laid off and went into a depressive spiral over the loss of his internet friends (and the two friends he had IRL).


I wish I could feel sorry for him but alas, all I feel is pity. At least he has that Sonic the Hedgehog movie to look forward to.

nice blog post retards, next time don't type an essay about an internet person you ever even interacted with in a thread that hasn't been bumped in half a year -- it'll save you a lot of time that could be invested in a lot of less embarrassing things
