Guess which distro now supports the 64 bit hurd? Gentoo! Well, by default it’s set to install only the headers, it seems this is mainly for cross-compilation, rather than for running the hurd. Still, interesting stuff, from literally two days ago.

Doesn't seem like this will be known to regular people or used to attack them just yet but I'm gonna keep an eye on this. Interesting that they claim it's going to be used to help curb online criminal activity but we all know it could very well be used to harm innocent people who just want to use the internet but the government deciding what they are viewing is harmful or criminal based on a non standard.

Has anyone tried Fuguita?

"FuguIta is a live system based on the OpenBSD operating system"

From the screenshots and basic info it sounds nice.

I see nothing in your post that talks about alternative OS s to the main three branches. Did you have the Canada is Failed State thread open in another tab and moved to the wrong tabj?

I've been running OpenVMS because I have fond memories of it from a long time ago.

Open VMS

Unfortunately getting licenses and keys and patches are kind of impossible now because they only give you a virtual machine and there's no way to update an existing system.
