Bicycle tattoos on both arms. Bicycle on a shirt. Phil sure is obsessed with bicycling for someone who can't even ride one.

Also, I wonder if Phil restraining himself is his subconscious trying to keep himself out of trouble, much like the cycling obsession may be a subconscious prompting to get some exercise?

He gets bike tattoos in spite of the fact that he can't ride, just like he buys bondage gear in spite of the fact that no one wants to have sex with him.

He most likely practices what is called "self-bondage" . Some BDSM practitioners actually prefer it to partner bondage, for greater feeling or
