$ (BTC) The Bitcoin Thread - NO SHITCOINERS ALLOWED

I hope so, its causing everything else to spike. I only owned like 50% of an ETh token and now got like $500 in one account, and then $150 or so on another. Its not amazing money but thats still $50 more than the stimulus check from the government.

i have this feeling that tomorrow jan 4 2021 btc will drop to 25k as markets opens again,
sp500 nasdaq gold and silver will surge as institutional money from crypto start to cash out gainz.
Not quite, but whatever the reason, good call.

I doubt it'll go over $100k personally. $50k I could see in a couple of months, but I think it'll probably stay around $75k by the end of the year.

Bitcoin just hit another ATH today at 36.5k USD, up 89% from where it was this time last month. Meanwhile rioters are stealing shit from the capital building. I don't see any future where 2021 doesn't have BTC cracking six figures easily.

This may be a dumb question, but does anyone know why ETH topped out at 0.11BTC in 2017 then dropped to 0.03BTC where it’s been since?

It looks like the exchange rate has been toying with gaining on BTC, but I don’t even know where to begin when trying to figure out how the market adjusts.

I’ve got a decent amount of ETH so I’m just wondering what the forecast is beyond it staying 0.03BTC to the end of time and rising with it when the market surges.

I've been lurking on the thread since Christmas, whats the best place to start with this 'E' coin thing?
Are we thinking the current trend is gonna continue for a while, is there a good place to learn about trading, strategy, how and why to make those graph thingies?
I don't wanna jump in with with nothing but life savings and my dick to hold onto but I feel I'm losing more money to inflation just sitting here.

Anyone who tells you that they can predict the market is lying. Honestly what I would start doing is dollar cost averaging. Every week (or two weeks, or month, whatever. just pick an interval of time) put in x amount of money into Bitcoin no matter the price. High, low, doesn't matter, put in the same amount.

bullrun has just begun but I could see ETH getting close to 2k-3k in the next month or two, it all depends on so many factors right now.

Got out this morning at 41300, its been hugging the BB all morning and MACD is going to converge on the 30 minute charts, probably have another re-entry point this morning after it retraces, but I think its going to run again.

Edit: still waiting on that floor........ any minute now.....

I can't entertain myself watching the riots anymore, but at least Bitcoin still lets me watch people lose their shit everytime it crashes.

It's shocking how much pink-posting is going on for a little bit of consolidation. I'm reminded of someone remarking how people have a hard time adjusting to differences in percentages when the price goes up significantly. It takes $400 to make a 1% move now. People still acting like we're at $10k. and a $100 move isn't just noise.

"Duuuuuh.... What's a 'bull flag?'"

The annoying thing is having to keep pushing out my swing orders. "Sell at $42,900... No, wait, $43,400... No, wait, $43,900... No, wait..."

ETA: Looks like Mr. @John McAfee knows wtf he's doing. Or maybe he just made a pact with the devil.

I think people just enjoy shitposting. The correction to 32k seems like a big deal until you remember that we were stuck at 19k for three years until less than three weeks ago.

So it crashed and now its back again, real increase? pump? dead cat bounce?
