Smash buys US $100,000 in bitcoin, then sells all of it at a loss only a day later. How are you even allowed to manage your own finances? Where did you get that money in the first place? I am lost for words brother, what were you thinking? Why didn't you just dollar-cost average over a period of weeks/months? You can't allow yourself to be overcome with fear of missing out when that much money is on the line.

I've been doing Dollar cost buys for years starting when it was around 7k.

I drop from 100ishk to 97k doesn't really bother me.

Another hit, current price 92.900, cant stop winning it seems, liquidating half of my short, hoping for lower prices. santa claus is bringing 90k range bull traps as xmass present. i can sense it.

What trading platforms are you guys using that allow shorting? I want to get in on the action too (And of course with realistic input amounts that won't wipe me out) although my long-term goals are to hodl forever.

What I believe you are looking for is a "perpetual futures exchange". I am currently demo trading on BloFin, it is a fairly popular exchange. There are many exchanges to choose from, they tend to be functionally very similar.

Decided to bite the bullet and throw some money into BTC and ETH through CoinBase for the sake of convenience.
I expect to lose money in the short term which is why I'll hold until either the Donald makes it rise to the moon or crashes it.

Pretty much everything except gold and im not kidding, Gamestop shitting the bed right at the end of the year. Looking to get back in after we fall off the $90k cliff
