Bubsy Making a Possible Return, Starting on Steam

Ugh Bubsy why? No one even remembers that annoying cat, and those of us that did don't even have fond memories.

It's pathetic, Bubsy tried so hard to be big and failed miserably, they even made a TV pilot, I don't recommend watching it, it's 25 mins of your life you'll never get back.

My main experience with bubsy was watching a group of 4 streamers (may have been speedrunners) attempt to race Bubsy 1, first to finish the game wins. It was so busted the 4th guy straight up dropped out and threw in the towel.

If I remember correctly, Rob Paulsen himself has referred back to the Bubsy pilot as one of the worst things he's worked on. I can remember him throwing a jab or two at it on his Twitter feed.

Having played around in level 2 for nearly 500 hours total (it's my top favorite level of all), I discovered many bugs and secrets during all that time

Are the 2D ones really that bad? They just seem like typical generic 16-bit era platformers.

That actually might be true seeing as Bubsy had 3 bland games that are at best average but flawed and at worst mediocre with one truly horribly bad game, this nothing compared to sonic years worth of bad games a few of which a lot of people consider some of the worst games ever.
