Judge Joe Brown, probably one of the few contributors to this documentary that some kiwis have heard of before. He was a prosecutor, then a judge in Memphis who got famous after they kicked him off of James Earl Ray's appeal process for bias. TV producers caught wind of this, and "Judge Joe Brown" ran for 15 years. In some markets, it was sandwiched between "Judge Judy" and "Judge Mills Lane".

After the show went off the air, the crazy began to shine through. He was arrested for apparently having an outburst in a child support hearing. This was while he was running for Shelby County DA in Tennessee, the highlight of the race being when he accused the incumbent of being a dang dirty LGBTQer! Yeah, he lost real big.

It's hard to pin down where he is on politics. He's a registered democrat, but has defended Trump from accusations of being racist and criticized Biden for his segregationist friends.

Most entertainingly, he has espoused some conspiracy theories about Barack Obama's secret connections to the Bushes:

Unlike the rest of his contributors, he doesn't seem to be into weird Identitarian bullshit like NOI or Kemet. I think he's just an old-school respectability politics, "pull up your damn pants" kind of guy. So in summation, he's kind of nuts, but the sanest person in the whole documentary.

But "Boy Lesbians" is still one of the best lines.

I've never understood why Black women think White women are jealous of their hair? If that's true, why do Black women wear wigs and weaves styled into hairstyles they appropriated from White women?

It's cope, pure and simple. It's a derivative of that commonly stated (but usually inaccurate) assessment that people bully others because they're jealous. Most people from other ethnicities are grossed out by black hair, but black people in the US are so coddled that when one of them says something dumb like "white women always want to touch my hair" their white acquaintances validate their opinion instead of correcting them. Hell, Chris Rock made a documentary about black hair, whole thing just to try and convince themselves their hair isn't, on average, a nasty tangled mess.

In some ways I genuinely feel sorry for black Americans. They have no real past beyond the plantations their ancestors worked. They weren't KANGS, they weren't Egyptians, they didn't spread civilization, they were from tribal villages that were captured in raids by their neighbors then sold to Middle Eastern and European slave traders (something like 10 to 1 going to the Middle East, but that's another topic). These idiots stomping around today canonizing degenerates like George Floyd, blaming white people for all their ills while talking about "building Wakanda" have no real past, no lineage to speak of. There was no Wakanda and there never will be. Africa was and still is a miserable shithole, the only time things have gotten even marginally better is when other people came in and fixed shit.

Hell, if the theory that human life began in Africa is true then the exact opposite of what the "experts" in the documentary said happened. White people returned to Africa after leaving and building civilizations. They tried to settle there and in the process made shit better for the hapless nogs still running around and fighting pointless tribal skirmishes, STILL selling each other into slavery. Hell, they still try to genocide each other from time to time. Sure, the white people also did some bad shit but overall their presence in Africa benefitted Africans.

Black culture in the US, and other Western countries, is an attempt to make up for the fact they are strangers in the lands they were born and their ancestors should have been shipped the fuck back to Africa in the 1800s. It must really, really suck to feel like this, to feel like you don't belong and to be treated as an outsider in your own home. Of course they also do stupid shit and make things worse for everyone, and because of white guilt no one wants to call them on their shit. I really hope that this documentary wakes a bunch of people up to some of the insane shit black people tell themselves to feel better, and that white people in general stop handling blacks with kid gloves, but that is probably way too optimistic.

I think the funniest things in the movie were:
1) They go from explaining how white people were these uncivilized gay sex cavemen who only had sex with their women to reproduce, while the black people were building civilization. THEN SUDDENLY white people just have taken over all of black people....and made gay sex illegal? So they have to keep it all secret? They completely glaze over it so fast hoping you won't notice the whole contracting ideals of taking over the world with gay sex but while simultaneously outlawing gay sex.
2) There is this amazing segment where they have all of these absolutely shiny headed bald as fucking hell black people explain how black hair is the end all be all source of black life and power as well as sexual prowess. But once again not a single hair on the heads of any of these individuals.

If you're African-American then your ancestors either:

1. Got nabbed and sold into slavery by a raiding tribe (like you mentioned.)
