Keep in mind some of this stuff I actually camp with so not like I dropped a bunch of money on a GPS just for the bag.

There are some things that go into the bag from the same space the bag is kept but are secured(read as hidden):

P226 5 ready clips and 2 boxes of ammo
AR-15 5 ready clips and 2 boxes of ammo
Flares
Inherited sawed off shotgun(yeah it is illegal as fuck but no one is going to find it in my house and if I am carrying it no one is doing shit about it) and bandolier.

When fully loaded the bag is pretty heavy but I keep in good shape so I can haul the weight a long distance. I've practiced while camping by putting weights to simulate the burden. I can easily hike all day at that weight with no increase in break time. Of course this will end as I get older but hopefully by then I'll be in my compound.

Those aren't my only guns and I'll undoubtedly bring one of the heavier hitting revolvers I own and my five-seven and if I have time to grab it I'd bag as much ammo as I could in a separate bag.

I'm not really a prep nut(no seriously) but I figure what if? I live in a city of absolute savages. I'm going to either need to hold out or get out if any number of things happen which aren't lottery odds unlikely.

I do have an exit strategy and a destination with caches along the way...you know maybe...I don't really check them.
