To be fair he already has. El Salvador went from one of the most murderous countries on the planet to one of the safest in the western hemisphere. All it took was some Draconian measures to achieve it.
 
I want to visit San Salvador thanks to Bukele. I'll visit the cathedrals, I'll eat the food, and I'll play hopscotch with the kids. All without fear of being harmed.
 
Bukele has shown that all the Western cowardly leaders are full of shit
