Is this game gonna suck?

I hate Algie so much as a character. His escort mission is difficult with his AI path tracking. He always talk shit to you in free mode. Don't even get me started on the Consomo Nerd mission.
I have a special love for Algie (one of the inspirations for my username) but yeah, I loathed the escort missions as a kid. From what I remember the prefects could still lock onto you during those missions and I hated trying to avoid them.

Bugs aside, Bully's AI is quite smart. You start a fight around prefects, the bullies will run away. You try to make out with a girl next to a girl you previously made out with, expect a catfight or a kick in the nards.
That's nothing. San Andreas had an entire mechanic where your girlfriends could become suspicious and even tail you in a car to try to find out.

But what about Vice City?
There's no girlfriend mechanic in VC.

Back to Bully, I hate Shop class on the 360. Your inputs with the analog stick do not register properly. Evidently, you have to do the motion, pause, and resume gameplay. Annoying.

I thought the shop class level was okay at first, but yea, it gets more tedious. Maybe because my controller responded the level just fine.

When the minigame asks for an analog rotation, how do you handle that? I cannot get it to register consistently.
Because I only played the minigames by using a wireless controller. Analog controllers would not work in the minigames and I still do not know why.

Shop class is broken for me. The analog prompts won't register unless you pause at a certain moment WHILE you're doing the motion,

IMO, it's one of R*'s best open world games yet. Experiencing a school setting in a video game brings back childhood memories without consequence.

Regardless how people feel about the characters/plot etc. I don't even think it's up for debate that SA was the peak of the series with so many mechanics going on in the background. But even beyond that, the gym and fighting gym stuff was great. There was so much control over CJ in that game and all of it gets gutted out in the very next game and I very much doubt the series will ever get those back again. It's really no wonder why there's such a large and active SA community out there.

VC has the music but c'mon. No one plays that game for anything more than that and the 80s vibe. Bar a few gun mechanics and the few aircraft it plays the same as GTA3 overall with a map nearly the same size. But don't get me wrong. I loved VC but I'd go back to SA before it in a heartbeat. It's open world is more fun and interesting than V's 80% barren desert map.

While III and VC were groundbreaking, just not as revolutionary as SA. For games made in the 2000s, SA was a huge deal, and if anything, it still has an active fanbase to this day.

For a 2005 game, SA was way ahead of it's time and still has a more fun open world experience than most OW games today. Every subsequent game felt like a step backward. Although, I do like IV for the realistic driving. I know a lot of people hated it but I always liked that the cars had inertia and didn't feel like they were glued to the road.

Major plot hole I don't get, Gary outright admits to everybody that he wants to "run the school," yet everybody ignores him and takes it out on Jimmy when things go haywire.

And these three were from 2004. Man, the 2000s was a great decade for games.
DMC3 was 2005. I always lumped these in as the great three from the 2000s and had thought they were from the same year.

I swear the 2000s will always be the final great decade for games and pretty much everything else. The world truly ended on May 21, 2011 and we never listened to Harold Camping.
