No government is perfect and there are horrific tales of abuse through out American history. The difference is that these incidents tend to be outliers, and when they happen, there is actual outrage. In China, this is just how shit is done and nobody bats an eye. This very case you cite is an example: if America operated like China, we would never have learned about it and nobody would have been outraged by the government's actions.

There is zero tolerance for that shit, and everybody knows this, as there are plenty of stories of motherfuckers getting vanned for doing that shit. And the FBI even visited the guy before they raided him specifically to let him know that they were watching his shit. He should of had a clue then. He chose to continue being a moron. Now, whether or not shooting him, or raiding him, was justified is something that should be investigated, but I've got little sympathy for the man in question.

Threatening to kill the PRESIDENT is not protected by the first amendment. Threatening to kill anyone is not protected by the first amendment, and this has been long standing precedent in the court system.
And the guy being "blind and crippled" means fuck all. Even if he was blind and crippled, if he walked into a bank with a loaded gun and demanded all the money, he'd be arrested. This is no different.
