I'm genuinely curious if anybody actually eats at Burger King. The one I have in town is always desolate, it looks tacky and everyone in town just goes to Wendy's. Any thoughts?

The Burger King we had open up here where I live is always busy as fuck and the lines are huge so I never go there. Why would I, when McDonalds has automated tellers and I don't have to stand in line and talk to anyone...

If BK got automated tellers that would be great, I might eat there more.

I remember getting a cheese-themed burger there a couple months ago in Cyprus and it was perfectly edible.

Sounds like the Burger King closest to my hometown. Never see anyone there even though it's on the main street in town. Probably because there are so many other options available. (McDonalds, Tim Hortons, A&W, Pizza Hut, KFC, Dairy Queen, plus all the local and regional chain restaurants/pizza places)

I remember in high school I used to purchase their Whooper hamburgers, tacos, and Tendergrill chicken sandwiches whenever I could. So yummy!

Unfortunately the quality of food has diminished despite the restaurant receiving a total makeover (the colony of cats remaining at the drive thru) and to be honest I would prefer go to Jack in the Box since they're chicken sandwiches are DELICIOUS!

I was p harsh on them before but their chicken fries work out fine.

I prefer them over McDonalds, because we don't have Wendy's (or any other burger chain-food restaurant) in Spain I think. Maybe is not that big of a chain. They're ok, I guess. I don't usually eat there unless it's with friends. I'm more of local burger places.

There's already a BK thread I think.

They're not bad but there's none on the way of anywhere I go so I never go.

Ive gotten raw meat in my burger last time I ate at a BK. Thats considering how there was no rush, and how easy is cooking such slim piece of minced meat... Considering how bland their burgers are, id rather walk an extra mile and go at Harveys.

I don't mind fast food, but I avoid Burger King. I dunno, something about their food just tastes off to me.

The whoppers used to be much bigger. They've been gradually shrinking over time.

lol a "cheese themed" burger.

I had to run an errand near a BK recently. I got the somethingorother Whopper with onions and bbq sauce or something on it.
It was okay. Sort of a mush of flavor even by drive-through burger standards. I definitely prefer Checkers' heavy lump burgers.

Dude they need thin fries like 6 years ago

and better MEAT

The meat the use feels like its desperately trying to be homeade grilled meat whilst just tasting like mush covered in condiments.

As a guy who eaten quite a bit of BK over the years I can honestly say that I'd rather Jack n the Box, Arbys , or Wendy's. It's sad because I used to love BK when I was younger but now its just another place I'll never go to again like McDonald's.

Not my favorite burgers but they're in the rotation. large sizes, good prices, and a signature mix of flavors you occasionally crave.

Burger King has sesame seeds on their normal and large buns, which is unusual/unique in the market(Arby's also does them as fast food but isn't burgers)

Sometimes thick fries are what you crave. McDonalds has the skinny, Wendy's has the partly unpeeled with sea salt shit, and Del Taco(surprisingly decent burgers) does crinkle-cut.

the mix of standard condiments is slightly saltier, with a touch of umami/savory, pairs well with the buns and meat.

Wendy's is best overall, freshest and most homemade/diner-style but you need the lower grade burgers once in awhile to remind your palate of who's best.
