Not to mention, FPGAs are still emulating the hardware, so all details in software emulation can reasonably be brought back into hardware emulation. They don't always have the exact chips so they still have to find ways to simulate it in other chips. FPGAs are cool but they're not quite perfect yet either. Plus they cost money.

As usual the only thing I'm seeing is the Libretro guy (Daniel de Matteis / Squarepusher / TwinAphex) talking shit about him and not evidence of any harassment, which is the same thing I saw the last time this got brought up:

I still haven't seen any proof of other emulator developers even harassing him. This claim comes from logs of TwinAphex talking shit about him in the RetroArch IRC channel being posted on RetroArchLeaks which isn't really harassment. I'm sure it's horrible to be called a pedophile (as he claimed people did in Discords he was in) but I would chalk it up to random trolls wanting to fuck with people unless somebody can prove they coordinated with TwinAphex or something.

It doesn't even make sense to me because we were most definitely named in Byuu's twitter suicide note and the anonymous post-suicide doc, no mentions of RetroArch anywhere. Is everybody who criticized Byuu guilty of murdering him? The only good thing I can say about that is at least it doesn't single us out.
